Tried to go through again and it completed safely. However I still think there is a problem with this scenario, saving and then reloading at Glasgow Central station may trigger this error. Be careful with it.
Console: XSS Problem: Textures/memory/performance Textures along the route sometimes go really low quality all of a sudden, ever since the Class 390 layered onto the Route as AI. I have also noticed a subtle increase in stutters along the route, mainly approaching GC, where there tends to be a lot of AI coming in and out of GC. I have some in game Screenshots. Seems like they could be too many trains, when I arrived, every platform was full of AI
This has happened to me a few times now. I'm doing a service from Neilston to Glasgow Central, and from Pollokshields East and north there is a queue of southbound trains, all held up by the one in the screenshot.
I'm noticing an increase in holdups too. Now about half the time I try to do a return service I get stuck somewhere behind a train jam. This was a problem before the green Class 350's and Class 390's got layered on, and with them the Cathcart Circle is becoming unplayable. I'm noticing also that on approach to the train jams you can pass a green signal to then be presented with the next signal at red. [additional] I just got stuck coming into Glasgow Central doing the early morning rail tour which I've run successfully in the past. With the Class 390 layer my approach was blocked by a train that apparently wasn't;t scheduled to go anywhere. I am now convinced that The Class 390 and 350 are causing the issues.
This route has blown me away - it’s so busy! I would like to see the new track shadows implemented. Also noticed the 314 display board is blurry
In service 2N16, AI train stuck at Pollokshields East, player train halted at red signal GB5184. AI train doesn't leave the station despite on a green signal.
On PS5, i am still experiencing game ending crashes nearly half the time on the final approach into Glasgow Central. I love the 2024 timetable but it does need to be greatly optimized as this route crashes as much as WCML south and is very frustrating. thank you
So weird. Glad to hear you’ve had no issues! I find myself having to look down at the floor arriving into Glasgow approach (once I hit the 20 marker) and avoiding any view of the outside world until I get across the bridge which mildly improved my odds of it not crashing. I have all layers for this route and removed all CC liveries.
It is weird. How can two people on the same system have two completely different experiences? Either I'm lucky, or I've just become too used to it to take much notice.
On PS5 for 2025 March mastery 15 scenarios i drove Cathcart Circle "Extra Time" but it ends with taking train to a Depot siding ... i leave an empty coach to change ends for the final move into the siding ... but there are passengers on board ! Could we not use the bell x 3 in 5 seconds to trigger an End of the Line effect even if we have no on-board announcements ?
Anybody else getting random blurry textures inside the class 380 cab? Seems a memory leak issue on XBOX Series S/X has appeared since I last played the route about 6 months ago.
It’s not good enough I’m outraged! It was bad enough in newer routes but older routes that were running fine? That’s unbelievable!
If they can’t fix it they should have a legal book thrown at them. We are talking hundreds of pounds here of content that isn’t working properly.
Matt posted they have recently made some (I think he said significant) progress in internal tests - hopefully that makes a real difference when it comes out. I think more comms on what they are doing to fix it in roadmap articles, rather than just we are trying guys, would help restore confidence.
I see they still haven't fixed the error on the destination boards at Central. Services going via Paisley Gilmour Street showing Paisley Canal as a stop.
