So, this is my first proposal post, and I am looking forward to posting more in the future. Anyway, let's get started. So we have the British Rail Class 86 as an add-on in Dovetail Games Train Simulator, which already has some liveries in the add-on, and I'm thankful for that. The problem is, it doesn't have three liveries that the Class 86 wore: The original "As Delivered" livery, Intercity Swallow Livery, and the Virgin Trains Livery. In case you're wondering which livery/paint scheme I'm talking about when I say its original "As Delivered" livery, here's a picture I found online of it:[IMG]I believe this livery is important to the Class 86 add-on in Train Simulator, especially when you're trying to set a scenario in the late 1950's/early 1960's. As for the Intercity Swallow Livery, here's a photo of what that looks like: [IMG]Now, before I go any further, I know you might be quick to point out that the Class 86 intercity livery is already included in the West Coast Main Line North Route add-on, but there is a difference. The Class 86 livery included in the West Coast Main Line North Route is actually wearing the "Intercity Mainline" Livery. This livery I'm showing you is called the "Intercity Swallow" Livery, and if you put the two side by side, you'll definitely see a difference. Anyway, we come to the final livery: The Virgin Trains Livery. Here's a picture I found of it:[IMG]I believe this livery will go well with the Virgin Trains First Generation Pack Loco Add-On, especially for electrified railway lines. Anyway, I'll be posting the links to the websites where I found these photos to avoid plagiarism.

I really do hope Dovetail Games sees this, and decides to make the marketplace add-on for this game. Anyway, please tell me your opinion on my proposal.

I'm pretty sure these are all available as reskins. I know for sure that Les Ross is, and it looks quite nice. Screenshot_WCML North_55.79098--3.99261_13-19-09.jpg

Well yes, but I want these reskins to be available in the Train Simulator Store.

Yeah, but still, you can just get them for free. If DTG did do it they would just list the reskins as different locomotives in the Railworks directory so they wouldn't work with the AP sound pack or other mods.

You want to pay for them when they're already out there as freeware? All of the skins you've asked for are already available in various guises (ie the virgin ones you can get with and without logos etc) on UKTS

    Go to uktrainsim.com
Click DOWNLOADS SEARCH at the top
Change the CLASS dropdown to [ELECTRIC LOCO] Class 86
In the keyword box type 86
    Click search

This will give you loads of reskins without a load of scenarios mixed in

There really isn't a good-quality IC Mainline/IC Swallow reskin of the 86/2 with proper dynamic numbering etc tho.

And it is the older, slightly different 86/4 model, not the 86/2 which is in the Class 86 DLC.

    True.
They don't use dynamic numbering though.

Yes, Good Point - Don't use them and wait for a long time for something else.

The problem with some reskins is the number is in the old place under the Cab Window
It should be at the bottom of the Cab Side and AP did it by doing a separate body for each number
