Hi guys, this is my suggestion about expanding the existing Hauptstrecke Hamburg – Lübeck route with Israel Railways' 1st, old & withdrawn Alstom Mo-Do trains from 1996 for Train Sim World series. This is the exterior of the train: & this is the interior of the train (2021): I'm not kidding this suggestion about expanding my german route with this old-fashioned Israeli train from 1996.
Do you really believe that DTG will build an Israeli train for a German route? And has DTG ever stated that they will expand Hamburg-Lübeck? That will never happen either. If you want Israeli trains or routes in TSW, you will have to build them yourself. However, this can be communicated to you daily in your posts, but you do not seem to comprehend it.
I suggest you stop trying. There is no point in arguing with someone who cannot even understand the simple fact that DTG nor any known 3rd party will ever make Israel stuff.

Sadly this is true. Guy seems to have a bee in his bonnet but the fact is, even in happier times the chance of a payware route from Israel or anywhere else in the Middle East is about as likely as a manned mission to Mars in my lifetime. Quite apart from the politics, how many Israeli routes and trains were ever built for MSTS, Trainz or TSC? Precisely none. This sadly is where moderation particularly in this section of the forum falls down. Needs someone from DTG to politely but firmly tell Mr. Levy it is never going to happen and further suggestions in that vein are pointless.
Man it's better to take time to write a proper Israeli route suggestion with moderate information & keep the thread alive, instead of pumping nonsense like this in forums. And if you want anything Israeli in the game, just make it in the TSW Editor.

Creating stuff in the editor is not going to be easy, it takes pros some time to get used to working with it just like any tool. Your options are going to be either learn the skills needed for the editor - don't expect instant perfect results. I'm currently trying to learn a few new skills (I'm not a TS Developer but am trying to get my head around a few things at the moment) or Commission someone in the community with the skills to make it for you. You'd need to give them as much reference material as you can and cover the development costs. There will be creators out there with the skills you need. Just don't expect it to cost the same as a DTG route because it's being made specifically for you. DTG are going to take the safe option especially with how many potential customers are not willing to touch anything Israel in the current climate.

Like, for this kind of bizarre transnational substitution, you have more chance of getting Class 142 Pacers layering into a SEPTA route in Philly, those exist ingame and at least they tried those once.
I find it extremely suspicous that he is clearly able to write suggestions with a rather high quality (leave out the fact the subject of the suggestion is nonsense), but on the other side is clearly inable to communicate properly with anyone here. The problem is not that he probably isnt a native english speaker, but rather the theory that all of his suggestions and some of his replies being the same sentence every time, are written and copied with AI and not by himself.
I have been fairly confident for some time that all this poster's posts are produced by some kind of generative system. I was giving the benefit of the doubt as to it being used simply as a translation tool rather than the account effectively just being a spambot, however. But the repetitive nature of these posts is getting tiresome.
I don't like to accuse people of using AI/generative systems, but i believe it all comes down to poor translation and/or a language barrier.
That's a hell of a deep cut, I live in the Northeast and even I forgot about that being a thing. The trolley museum near Bradley Airport used to have one of those demonstrators at one point, but sadly it's been scrapped.
As I've said before elsewhere, this is a situation that sucks as regards getting one of the routes I'd most like to see, but know will never exist in the foreseeable future, so don't make suggestion threads for. But I also respect that my enjoyment of a train sim is the LEAST important thing to come of the state of affairs there...
We're back at it again with the IsTrain suggestions, eh? Really, really encourage you to start learning the PC Editor at this rate because trying to shoehorn Israeli Trains into HHL is... questionable at best and nonsensical at the worst.
That's not what was said, the point being made was to compare the ridiculousness of the international equipment substitution being suggested by the OP. Princess was referring to the rail bus tests that took place here in the 80's, with SEPTA being one of the trial participants. The trains were early predecessors to the Pacer, which does exist in-game. These rail bus sets that look like the BR Class 141, but still 142s exist in game not septa 141 ripoffs, that's what I'm trying to say Both are pacers but have differences
Indeed, I never suggested SEPTA was ingame, I was merely highlighting how implausible adding these trains (ones which there's no motivation to make without an accompanying home route) to the suggested German route would be - via the medium of hypothesising an ACTUALLY believable example using pre-existing ingame rolling stock on a hypothetical route that DTG could more plausibly end up getting the rights to. Kind of like how the SNCF TGV duplex and DB ICE 3 layer into SEHS in a not-exactly-100%-like-for-like representation of real world scenarios. Like, it's silly, but not as silly as building a foreign train for the direct sole purpose of adding it to a route it's never run on.
While we're at it. I love CO/CP and R stock that ran on the London Underground between 1938 and 1983, I also notice that there are no Scottish Highland routes in TSW. So why not bring the two together in one release? Okay, so there's no electrical current but who'll care with those beautiful vistas? While you all mull that over, I'm off to fly a Volvo Olympian to the lost city of Atlantis in Flight Simulator 2020.
