Hello, I've been looking for a new sim distraction and decided to get TSW5, bunch of its DLCs and the Raildriver Controller. I cannot get the Raildriver to work correctly. The throttle axis for the brakes, power, reverser, etc. are inconsistent and their graphics wobble back and forth in game like I'm slightly moving them. Example, the throttle in game will move back and forth and 'ghost' inputs will appear on the right-hand side saying I pressed or moved a certain button or throttle when I have not. I also downloaded the calibration tool to test the inputs, and ensured I calibrated the train controls in game. I do notice in Advanced options, it does not say that Raildriver is detected - yet I can calibrate it in game when I press 'E', and it registers each movement. Please see attached screenshot. I'm used to pretty heavy-duty simulator quality equipment for my flight rig and understand there can be some nuances, but this 'toy' like controller is as basic as it gets. This should work - I hardly doubt this is hardware related based on my past experiences. Any help would be appreciated.
Have a look here, the most recent version by cobraone, it does work to make the raildriver work better. TSW Raildriver & Joystick Interface V2.0.1.3 released. https://forums.dovetailgames.com/th...-joystick-interface.61440/page-14#post-939388
Thanks for the reply it seems to help. I simply set the sensitivity to 3 in the tool, clicked 'Start Callback' and not noticing as many inconsistencies. I didn't even go through the train list under 'Enabled Assets' and not sure if that's recommended.
Thanks, I checked the guide and connected the recommended asset. Also as a side note - When calibrating the rail driver in game without the mentioned Cobra software, you'll notice it registers minimal articulation. The 'Green' showing range of motion is very limited. When using Cobra, the 'Green' fills the entire movement range when calibrating as expected. I think this proves this is clearly software related and not hardware related. I'm not sure if Dovetail reads these forums - but after spending $600 between Train World Software and the Raildriver itself, that this would work as expected without the user having to locate an obscure tool for proper function. They can do better. Thanks again.
Yes, they CAN do that, but they have yet to, and this only with TSW5, which is very annoying. Here is a bit of light reading for ya. https://forums.dovetailgames.com/th...edback-wanted-please.84723/page-3#post-918056 A few videos are posted here, one by me.
