I went on YouTube and I saw this on my recommendations, it’ll come to consoles as well. It’s edited by Saber Interactive who developed Roadcraft for exemple. The city feels alive and I hope it wasn’t just for the trailer. I’m interested to see other videos on that upcoming bus game: PS: the developers are the same who made the awful Bus Sim 21, let’s pray they improved since then.
Good find. I think the world building will be pretty decent, Saber do a good job with that. RoadCraft has been ok, not the overwhelming success that snowrunner was. But even with snowrunner, physics weren’t really the selling point. Great game but it’s more about gameplay/solving the puzzle of delivering all sorts of different loads through crazy road conditions. But physics on clean roads at speed aren’t great. Judging by their past games and the marketing for this one, I think this is going to lean towards being pretty arcade-y with gameplay challenges providing the difficulty
Yeah I agree with you about the physics, it will probably be arcadish but for an obvious reason, to sell to a large range of people and not just the few ones wanting realistic physics, I’m talking for console users. I hope at least we won’t have buses with skyrocketing acceleration and braking like in their old title, Bus Sim 21.
This looks sh!t, I would've much rather have had astragon's version than this, I'm not one to be negative, but this looks like one of those cheap mobile knock offs made in an hour
Doesn’t look as bad as all the AI slop sims currently all over the PS Store, but yeah this looks like a continuation of bus sim 21. It even has the whole ‘the city is getting its first bus service’ theme which I really dislike. I’m still looking for something to scratch my bus itch on the PS, as much as I love OMSI, I’m not always in the mood for jumping into my rig & setting it all up, as opposed to a quick boot up on the PS. I’ve seen Viewapps gameplay of their CTS Bus addon, and it didn’t look too bad. It was lacking pedestrians & traffic though. The Bus from TML is really bizarre as they still don’t have AI busses (which is pretty egregious for a bus sim set in Berlin) and the performance is still in the toilet with rather lacking graphics considering. I don’t really get how that game still has a following with so many fundamental flaws, yet they’re doing paid DLCs. Overall from what I’ve seen of this new title, and CTS, I’d honestly go for CTS which is only £20 anyway.
