….Now for the old Thomas the Tank Engine theme on a Class 710.

Work that’s been on hold for some time as the reskin was meant to be released with 66 730 “Thomas”.

Product Reskin name. TSLP710/111 GBR, TT OVN.
    Cat/ Job No: TSLP710/111F1YNL5R5OR1EDGBLIN

As mentioned in the CC description I’ve been very careful not to add any direct TTTE content, as the theme is designed for a specific vision.
That being one of a TTTE theme across the UK established by the past GBRTT blog teams.

Last but not least we have,,,

    “LNER She’s Electric”.

A little nervous uploading this one with it being LNER including the use of Oasis and Oasis FC. But after some research etc I felt comfortable enough to release Her. I wish I had more time to do something a little bold yet with a rough feel to the graphic work.
Yet I decided to keep it sleek and simple by incorporating the Top 20 most streamed Oasis songs, the releases of their early singles and promotional material. I felt it was a little something special for Fans that will be travelling on those named coaches. And Oasis FC has a full car dedicated to them.

You will see in the following photos I am trying to recreate what that special evening will be like for all those lucky Oasis fans travelling on The 09:00 Edinburgh to Kings Cross for the Oasis Gig at the London Wembley Stadium on the 25th July 2025.
Doing this work definitely brought back many memories as I was around when their music hit the nation with their classic intros like the drums at the start of “Supersonic” and the energy in “Cigarettes and Alcohol” the lyrics spoke to the youth of the mid 90s in the first two albums. Their music was amazing then and still is today. I’m glad it’s back after all these years of decline within popularity for the Rock and Roll genre.

Product reskin name: TSLP801/ 216. Set “LNER She’s Electric”.

    IMG_4726.jpeg IMG_4723.jpeg IMG_4724.jpeg IMG_4725.jpeg IMG_4727.jpeg

So that’s it for now on new releases as I will focus on past errors or defects in past work mentioned previously at the start of this thread.

I would also like to say a big thanks for what LNER are doing for Oasis Fans. Again I’m sure it will be a special occasion for those lucky enough to be there.

    Bernard.

A little something close to me and nice to see what Bachmanns have now done.

As many of you might know that I have spoken publicly about my experiences with depression and struggles with my mental health.
All the time I’ve been working on this I’ve felt nervous about what I was doing. I think that’s mostly down to my worries of work being blocked.
Anyway it’s not the first time I’ve heard of Andy’s man club. Been brought up in many meetings etc in the past, yet it’s fair to say I was in no position to visit, so never did.

It’s also a subject close to home with the very worst that can happen. (I don’t like the word so I will just say gone).
My sons played football and at these games I’d meet parents etc. 5 years have past and I think 3 have gone.
All male too. Young and vibrant no one would ever know that days later they’d be gone.

It’s close to me as my son stayed at the lads (B) house who sadly lost his father. Why I’m placing this reskin and post up today.
Because I was close to and so has made me think about doing this livery with confidence and purpose.
That child (B) is still hurt many years later so I’m glad I returned to port. I’m here.

I’ve been out as sea and so have many stories to tell, could these stories help others and the knowledge I gained in the darkness of the night. I’m not ashamed to tell my stories or hide who I am, because out there in the NHS health system there’s just no support what’s so ever. My argument still today that with no support system in place no public services or understanding within society where do they go.
Why I have used the term discrimination once or twice as if you have a visible disability then it’s seen. But with mental health issues then for me even returning to a GWE thread and now the Class 700 feedback thread I’m nervous and feel sick. I can’t do it.
Could take my half hour to even open a DM. It’s fair to say no one would understand that and so I will feel somewhat discriminated towards and yet no one is directly to blame. It’s being away socially and possibly the way I’ve always tried to do.

Be honest and talk. Why as crazy as it sounds any company I email I say I can struggle so they don’t think it’s a five year old presenting these companies with ideas I have recently. Hence the release of a new Bachmanns Class 69 013 to help raise awareness and money with working with GBRf who with Arlington Fleet Services, Eastleigh repainted 69 013 in a special Andy’s men club paint scheme.
A nice looking one two. Sales of these models will be donated to AMC. Now by all means am I suggesting anyone listened and started paying attention to ideas of special liveries to raise awareness or even money for charity.

I’m glad it’s being done and for such an important charity as AMC for one I hope to support the best way I can by bringing awareness of AMC and the work of GBRf and AFS by recreating there livery and speak openly here about mental health even the stigma that can surround it all. I don’t discuss this topic for no reason, I mean if one has a food allergy they speak up so why not if a person faces challenges to come to such a public place. Even acts in the past on my work that basically drove me mad.
    It’s still bothers me today.

    But enough of all that.

This is all about awareness and about talking not hiding (I’m a fine one to talk)
As with those lads and men that are gone it’s about speaking up and being more respectful or aware of how a simple comment can destroy a person’s mental state. Knowing the signs and just basically being a decent human being.

It’s down to the individual on both sides to be open and for others to be open minded about what I’m writing about.

For like I say we know if someone is hurt because we see bruises. Yet with Mental Illness then no one can read or see the state of a broken or mis functioning brain. Years of practice means we can hide it well.

And only when their can do we see to act for so long will drain one of life.

    Let be aware please.
This livery is for the course, I support everything that andysmanclub set out to do and all all other companies mentioned in helping bring awareness to what andysmanclub means to the founder.

Thank you to anyone that reads this.
Old team mates, it was never about me. It was about supporting others even ones we don’t even know.
Our actions have consequences on our environment and those wings can be damaging if used incorrectly.

    It’s a good job I’m a seasoned sailor:)
    I can protect others then.

    Lee✌.

I do love this livery, I might do a class 47;)

    IMG_4778.jpeg IMG_4777.jpeg IMG_4779.jpeg IMG_4780.jpeg IMG_4781.jpeg
I did a lot of work on the “OKAY” logo and was afraid of ungrouping in case I wasn’t able to regroup.
The storm mural is limited again to keep decal numbers low. As you will notice limited data information warning labels and mirror of some other lower decal work. For this particular livery is quite demanding with 995 decals used.

A lot of work on a day of rest but it’s all for a good cause and so I will leave Her with you now that’s it on CC.
    Enjoy everyone and remember.

    Night all.

I'm glad to see you've made it. I know you spoke about it a couple of weeks ago, but I'm glad to see you've done it. It's very well executed. Especially the lightning effect and the hand mural.

Thank you. I always chip away with so many different liveries but some take that extra bit of confidence and concentration.
The Hand logo I had no confidence in doing until my back was against the wall. (Time to have it ready for Sunday for reason I’ve already mentioned) It’s sad as because with being so close the Chester to Holyhead line it’s handy for those in despair to take a one way ticket out.

It’s a very somber topic of discussion but it’s factual and real, so why turn an eye to what some face.
It’s wrong and dangerous because the one thing anyone needs in that situation is support yet that stigma or pride in men gets in the way of any kind of healing process.

I mean if you think about it MM then we can go on the net and discuss trains even here but not many men are prepared to be open to discussing what issues that person could be struggling with. It’s a very difficult situation to both the person putting the act on and the men that also do the same. If it’s one big act between man then where the honesty of what men have on their minds. Women are not like that and probably why I was popular with the lady’s, I was open and honest about my feelings. No act of I’m the big man, no I’d be open and so I could spend hours talking with a girl. In my naughty days I had about 9 lady friends. Yet remained friends many years later after our fun and games. Because I was open that’s all, no lie or pretending in front of my mates.

It’s like most men now are living a lie and so the longer that lie or act goes on the more damaging it can be until on day a person has no options left but one. Hence it was a gambling addiction hidden from his wife and the huge sums of money he lost and deeply in debt for.
I guess the shame of it all got a little to much and so it all ended in the back of his works van. Non of his mate knew how bad it was because no one again seen the signs because it was all one big act. A brave face to cover his pain.

I remember the good days actually because his kids would have all new football kits. Why no one would ever think anything was up.
All seemed well and normal, yet behind it all was a young man in dept with a deep addiction to gambling.

He didn’t know when to stop when the fun stopped.
Now his wife and kids have no dad no money and in dept. Such a waste.

He even ask my son if he could talk to me like I did when it all happened yet that all stopped when I fell too. He liked going on drives with me and the family you see.

I love the look of the AMC livery but the message is all about talking as AMC motto says.

    #ITSOKAYTOTALK

We need to before more get hurt, families get ripped apart all because men are to proud or the stigma of admitting they are struggling and the acts put on by men in society. Add the lack of awareness in society and no key support system in place then I feel we have a problem deeply rooted in society, including those responsible for the wellbeing of its people.

Left unchecked I fear the problem will only continue or get worse the longer it’s ignored.

So for this forum we have some awareness now with the 66 GBRf AMC livery, yet I will continue with supporting this cause away from here.
Because calling myself a victim or survivor feels wrong. I feel being honest with one’s self is all I did.
Took responsibility and thought about others that are left to pick up the pieces.
It was so hard mate, to keep that one decent life line available. Why it’s worse for people that might live alone or have no outlets or social interaction with other men now all the bars have shut down.

The feeling of being alone and a complete failure as a man and a father. I broke down at the doctors yet got banned.
I’ve been on my own for years and it’s only small charities like MIND and AMC that seemed the only option left after the vast damage the past epidemic caused for NHS staff and services. Everyone was completely drained.

I seen it with my own eyes the NHS staff had enough and the frustration was clear to see. Completely overwhelmed under staffed and dare say a government that sat back while the news of such virus was coming, making life hell then and for some are still left with the scars but no support in sight.

Sorry to waffle on there MM and anything said if you can try not let it get to you because I know me being so direct might offend or upset others. Please it’s an issue that can’t be ignored if we don’t speak up. As without being pig headed when I say this but it could be an inspiration for others;)

I mean where would I be now without you or you without me (Probably better off lol) . Has me being so open allowed you to do the same with no fear of prejudice. If so then what’s the harm in being a little brave and willing to be a true man by showing his true self in a public domain supporting now only how we make liveries but the person behind the work:)

A Human with feelings not a machine with no name or purpose.
Men that once built mighty ships now pushed aside or working in a supermarket chain.

No wonder men feel the way they do. The fear of being obsolete, extinct.
Has man been replaced by boys with only fear in their hearts, left with no tools to help them get out of a hole.

Where has that British Lion in the heart and soul that made our brave men so willing to make a sacrifice for the honour of calling themselves servants to the crown, a duty to their families back at home. To be British and to stand together as a nation when the nation had to act.

Can we do the same now to turn so many vulnerabilities in our cubs to help them grow to be Lions.
To make men of this country stronger by showing a weakness but united we find strength.
For being brave and true is a honourable man. Because you see MM I see openness a strength not a weakness.
The word weakness never comes into play by being one with who we are nor ashamed to be straight and true for the benefit of the society I share.

For me to publicly share my thanks to GBRf for work on 69 013 along with so many other fan based class 69 heritage liveries.
Their willingness to support andysmanclub and for me to publicly support a charity such as andysmanclub.
For which I will make a class 47 version soon;).

Right well enough said on that one and so I thank you Jplayz (MM) for adding to this difficult subject for some.
Yet without going over it all again I feel it’s the right thing to do after seeing the devastating consequences first hand for those that slip through the net. Be mental health related or even the shame or stigma of speaking to mates about a gambling addiction.

Why lose so many innocent men or allow the devastation that affects families or friends to continue. When it’s a case of being rejected by society due to the stigma that surrounds any mention of the word depression as a sign of weakness never mind the stigma of using the words Mental Health to friends or family even work colleagues.

Again sorry Jplayz it’s a subject that I’ve been aware of for many years and so seen it coming. Because I heard so many cries that sadly went un answered so the cries faded one by one. Yet because I to was out at sea in the storm everyone thought I was mad, crazy a loon.
Why would any professional listen to me if my message came across as insanity because looking back it was waving frantically for help to return to shore and safety of the harbour walls.

No one was there man. They just laughed.

Anyway I’ve been rambling on here. It’s late to so I shouldn’t be here. I only came on to do my usual on the TSLP Paint Shop thread for 390 013. I got distracted and lost track of time because of, well what’s been said already.

You take care my friend, catch you soon.

    Lee✌.

New GBR 390 IC theme reskin now available on CC.

Part of the original APT or IC/R200 Special theme reskin family as they have a second purpose away from any R200 of old related content.
As a GBR theme for IC services are so away from any regional constraints such as unified theme under any conceptual work seen in the regional theme.

So first up for the newer a secondary purpose of any 390s under that of R200 Project team or that of Railway 200 events.

Product/Reskin name. TSLP390/016. Set, GBR, IC. OVN.
    Cat/Job No: TSLP390/016F1YNL5R5OR1EDEMK

    IMG_4809.jpeg IMG_4798.jpeg IMG_4799.jpeg IMG_4800.jpeg
Many design features remain the same by keeping in theme with other fleet members that would be a due an overhaul after purpose for any R200 release. The design is quite simple with a British Airways theme added as a secondary design will consist of a flag design or the use of a swooshing approach like that seen on aircraft tail designs. The silhouette of wing is also part of the overall visual design and one of a logo. With use of a worn tired effect on the flag to help the font stand out better against the background white of the flag. And using old IC branding with GBR theme content. This is to retain a familiar logo image and IC branding synonymous with long distance travel services connecting major capitals from the norths of Scotland down southward to London and Europe via WCML or ECML then EUROSTAR.

Any past services that I could mention but rather keep that a secret for now.

    On strict instructions:)

    Bernard.

    Delayed Product and release information.

Delayed for a number of reasons on 37 401 release.

Product/ Reskin name: TSLP219. 37 401 “MQS” SR, TGG. OVN.
    Cat/Job No: TSLP219F1YNL5R5OR1EDLAB.

    IMG_4543.jpeg IMG_4544.jpeg IMG_4537.jpeg IMG_4563.jpeg IMG_4560.jpeg

I was going to leave it with no R200 logos on the nose and sides but I thought by adding it gave the loco a look of being part of something.

A really great looking livery to appearing at TGG with so many TOCs contributing daily it’s seems.
    Can’t keep up:)

    Hot off the press.

A 390 livery that’s been held back from the start, now all completely reworked and available on CC now.

    Product/reskin name: TSLP200. GBR, BR, RW200. OVN.
    Cat/Job No: TSLP200F1YNL5R5OR1EDEMK

    IMG_4908.jpeg IMG_4912.jpeg IMG_4913.jpeg IMG_4914.jpeg IMG_4916.jpeg

The whole design principles was Raikway 200 at the core. Add historical context for theme. Then add purpose which warranted a special livery. That is the Story of BR and GBR as a way to inform the public of the past and the future.

Why I’ve added some design elements of BR while adding some new shapes such as the curved style mixed with an angular edge design.

    Have Fun:)

Very smart looking. I'm biased as VT operated on my local mainline, but you've really captured the Virgin red really nicely. I like the AWC green/blue colour you used as well as it mixes the two operators of the WCML post-privatisation (VT and AWC respectively).

Thanks it did look totally different to begin with. One of the original designs at the start of the Rail 200 prep thread.
I wanted something newer tho that blended the new the old and future.

    IMG_4922.jpeg IMG_4923.jpeg IMG_4927.jpeg
So VT, the ones that introduced tilting trains. BR and GBR, colours and theme. A story for passengers to enjoy and relax as they fly through the British countryside. Any ref to AWC has been removed based on conceptual reasoning. I fresh look was what I wanted away from the APT AWC style as I have 5 sat in storage of that nature.

    It’s non stop lad:)

But first let’s move on to a the class 66’s.

    First up is….

Product/ Reskin name: TSLP178, 66 744 “Heart of Wales” GBRf. OVN.
    Cat/ Job No: TSLP178F1YNL5R5OR1EDPBD
    Livery link: https://creatorsclub.dovetailgames.com/creations/225676

    IMG_5128.jpeg IMG_5129.jpeg IMG_5181.jpeg IMG_5183.jpeg IMG_5194.jpeg

Done 66 744 “Heart of Wales” because A, its name and B, it’s been seen recently with 66 748 “St Michael’s Mount” hauling the new Britannia Explorer owned by Belmond. So 66 748 is in the shop but just having decal limit issues with that at the moment.

Now moving on the Railway 200 related work.

    The little surprise.

We finally after all these months have rolling Mk3a rolling stock:)

    48133 TSO. Green.
    IMG_5063.jpeg

    48122 TSO Blue.
    IMG_5064.jpeg

    40 732 TKFB Blue.
    IMG_5118.jpeg

These are just a few coaches as today I will be working on the white and pale blue to complete the two sets,
    43 803 “Pen y Darren”. IMG_2647.jpeg And, 43 825 “Locomotion No1”.
    IMG_3319.jpeg

There is a lot of information about coaches, and formations. I will provide more details after all stock is fully completed.
it’s a mind field on ex TOPS code etc. interesting stuff tho.

So that’s it the 6 for the batch released yesterday. I hope you enjoy and always there’s much more to come soon.

Until then enjoy the rest of the weekend folks✌.

    Bernard.

Hey, wow, great work! Finally, I'm not the only one painting steam locomotives on TSW models. ;)

When you consider this, real graphic designers who create advertising slides for real trains import completely pre-made designs via vector graphics, while we have to cobble everything together from a few preset shapes in the Livery Designer.

Hey this is an honour coming from master of livery designer. So thank you:)

We spoken many years back as you were an inspiration to me in those early days. (During the 5th anniversary competition).
    IMG_1053.jpeg
Didn’t have the skill tho back then. Nor 1000 decals.

So I’ve put my skills to the test and used every single decal.
Fine work like those you’ve seen already.

Have to say I can’t agree with you more on how time consuming and the frustration I can feel as a LD.
I haven’t got access to pre graphics etc. All this as you will know does hamper the overall design.
We have to make do what we have on TSW. I can only dream about the designs I could make using professional tools.

If you’re interested in the art side then when my hands are freed up I will be focusing more on that side.
All things transport. Planes Trains, Ships etc. I’m currently working on a few one being for the SS United States.
Arts and design has always been a passion so why not bring them together.
It’s more of a challenge and that to me can be fun at times.

    Cheers Sparmi.

    Rigsby.

    Error noticed on TSLP224.

Error found. Decal on grill not sitting correctly.
And TSLP CC code is wrong.

These will be corrected today with the release of coaches and formations.

    Bernard.

Update on errors loco, coaches and formations.

Ok a quick update to say I’ve noticed more errors. I must’ve been half awake and most certainly rushing to miss such obvious mistakes.
829 on 43 849. All errors on both 43 186 and 43 945 have no been corrected. Just doing a few more checks before releasing.

I’m also having issues getting some liveries to be available in free roam. All AI etc is enabled (IE the newer settings) but still nothing is showing.

Was hoping to share some release information etc, yet time has ran out.

So just a few pictures of my latest work for the Class 86.
Going back to the May 1980. The Rocket 150 Event held at Rain Hill celebrating 150 Years since the opening of the Liverpool And Manchester Railway. Ties in with historical work I’ve been reading up on.

    We have Numbers 86 214 "Sans Pereil" an 86 235 "Novelty”. IMG_5475.jpeg IMG_5476.jpeg IMG_5489.jpeg IMG_5490.jpeg IMG_5499.jpeg

    86 235 has been released under TSLP235.

    Thanks.

    Bern.

I’d like to let any visitors to this thread looking for new work or updates the news, that as of now I’ll be working more on R200.
My intentions was to keep updating errors in past work or overhauling old work as well as improving flow of information about current releases from this thread.

This will again be put on hold while I focus heavily on R200 work.
My intention is to return to this thread when all R200 work is completed with the end of September being my ending date for anything R200.

Until then I thank all that visited or supported my work here, till next time take care all.

    Rigsby (Aka Bernard)
    ✌.
