Building Amtrak cascades, and the sounder in Washington State would be gorgeous! All the scenery and beautiful route through the evergreen state. Bring in the F59PHI if you can
I agree. The full Sounder line between Everett and Tacoma, WA is 81.8 miles long which is doable in game. The route would give operators a bit of everything. The route sees BNSF freight, Amtrak Cascades, and Amtrak's Empire Builder and Coast Starlight, in addition to Sounder. Possible locos/rolling stock: -BNSF: SD75M/SD75I, GP60/GP60M-3/GP60B, GP50/GP25, GP39-3 (rebuilt ex-BN GP30s/GP35s/GP39Es/Ms/Vs), SD60M-3, ET44C4, C44-9W/AC44C4M rebuild, B40-8, B40-8W, GP38-2 (including some patched ex-BN locos) with BNSF freight equipment, including Boeing Fuselage Train equipment for the Renton Boeing facility that is located along the route (way cool operation, by the way; and one that is needed for this route). -Cascades: SC44 Charger, Siemens Venture Coaches/Cab Cars (coming soon), Horizon Cars, Amfleets, or Talgo Coaches/Cab Cars -Seattle Sounder: MP40PH-3C and/or F59PHI w/ Bombardier Bi-Level Coaches/Cab Cars -Amtrak: ALC-42 Charger, P42DC, or P32-8BWH (occasionally seen on CS) w/ Superliners All of the passenger cars need full interiors.
Also, in addition, you could throw in the Amtrak Cascades F59PHI. That loco was a classic and part of the peak era of Amtrak on the west coast.
