Liveries Rail 200. Preparations And Ideas For September.

Hey I appreciate your openness and today I’m not as uptight as I was with you yesterday. I’d just got up.
I’ve been all over the place my self so again things happen for reason.
If we know why then like I say in the DM chats can make a choice etc. Support you my friend by as R200 members or as me being me.

Never feel that if I’m acting or you feel I’m removing you from anything I’m not in that sense only in removing the pressure of it all due to your own personal circumstances. And for me then I still get anxieties about things especially since not being on my meds for my wobbly brain. So again I fully understand and will always try supporting no matter what.

Yet for anyone to give that support sometimes we need five and come back. We’re Human Jplayz, and a Human I will treat you as.
And because we are human that means we’re social species we work better together as a community. Like our ancestors.
If every member is close and tight then that builds a small community a bond.

Just like our ancestors. We have the Alpha and the ones that need the strength and leadership of that Alpha.
Without a strong alpha a community of Apes will fail. Yet without a community to support the Alpha would Humans be here today.

We must support each other no matter what. We’re a social species and need each other. It why we have one of the most complex array of communication. Hence for us a community to help you then you have to communicate with the clan.

I don’t waffle for a reason its us as humans doing what nature intended. To express be free not left in a gage with no ways of communicating.
Any animal or species taken out of its natural habitat will get depressed.

Take five but never lock your self away. It will do more harm than good, because humans are not meant to be alone.
Nature cannot be changed because that would be altering life.

How has the authority to do that.

Be you, be free, be a Human.
I need you the same as you may need me.

So forget about work. Work is work theirs a Human behind that work.
Humans all make mistakes, only if we never learn from them.

Yes I believe transparency is key. I felt I owed it not only to you and the Team, but also those in the community who have been watching our progress as well. I don't think you were uptight. You were being honest with me which I appreciate. You're the Team Leader. You were right to ask what I have planned as it also gives you an idea of what needs doing, etc.... I've just detailed my plans in DMs available to the R200 Team in the usual ways.

No I know. I have nothing against you Lee. At the end of the day, we had plans, and now I can't fulfil part of what I agreed to so I understand.

Indeed it is and you can see the differences in market share too. Consoles are limited so the games will be yet on PC technically there is no limitations except for how much one spends on a pro pc set up.

Just quickly the R200 Team is created to set up frame work for individual task etc. The Project is about the community being involved with Railway 200 and to celebrate the event. If we and others in the community are contributing then the project is now running itself

The core aim of the project from day one was too see what the community could create, as I say the R200 team was set up to bring any ideas together that’s all if a community member wanted to be more involved with its development.

I’m no one, just a fan of the event and what it stands for. All the historical and technological aspects of the event.
We wouldn’t be travelling on trains at 125mph and even faster world wide if it wasn’t for all the great engineers that made it all possible.

My hobbies is engineering and why I want to see absolutely everything even that class 43 where you can see all the Internal components.
Time is running out tho for me to see and even provide these to other members.

Is this R200 content TG08 as this thread is only set up for R200 content. I asked you if you wanted to do TY videos but said no?.
Can you explain please?.

Your instructions was to make and creates R200 scenarios based on historical context mixed themes such as steam and wagons even TTB galas. Do we have SRs permission to use his work?. Again this was all discussed privately with you and you chose to have 3 task. YT was not one because you said no. So again I’m looking for some answers here.

How cant I work on what I need to if people are not keeping to the arrangements.
What we make Rudy films not what you do on your own road map as you said you wasn’t interested in videos.
Again what you both do outside that is not my concern but what goes on with R200 Team members is.

And let me make it clear I am not bothered about anyone working together away from R200. I have no say on that and nor any rights to pass comment. But again if nothing has been created for R200 then what have we been doing for 4 months for that Railway 200 celebration event feel.

I’ll do my work as an individual contributing to Railway 200. As are others. If no agreement is being stuck to the that’s an agreement broken.
Hence there is no R200 now. So what next if no leader.

Who’s directing this. And if so is anyone actually sticking to their agreement. This topic was discussed weeks ago about providing for Rudy.
You asked for 3 Task and I gave them at the cost to the project. Where is all the themed work that was again discussed to make this event and project special.

Have I been let down by my own key Team that I trusted in.

Announcement.

I have decided to end this project or have any direct involvement now.
It’s taken to much of my time up to focus on other area of things like work on the freight side or HH,RN.
There is so much I want to do and wanted from this project but the Team is now one man and it’s just not working out due to the amount of ups and downs with myself and individuals which can’t be helped but is now becoming a problem.

I feel the main Aim of what the R200 team set out to do is either to time consuming a distraction from their own personal threads and work.
So due to this and how I feel right now then all I can say is I will do the LMS vs LNER and set up everything this is involved with this.
That means I will now be working on these LMS vs LNER scenarios only and all other content and that’s the last from me for the R200 Project.

As some of you might now I’m not here for upset because it’s not good for my mental state.
I feel that every day I get somewhere the situation changes again. It’s unsettling me when again this project was simple.
How to end this message I don’t know because I know if I go, no one can reach me.

Doing this today might leave you all in disarray, I need time because again I don’t feel like I am getting any where with the project as a team perspective. I’m lost because again agreements had been made and it just seems like it’s all fallen apart.

Let’s get this straight shall we. You had all these bright ideas of RM etc. all I asked for was frame work.
Tasks. Every time I said I need more men you moaned, you said it was too much for you so I reduced it to down to 3 task.
I’ve been constantly limited what I can do because I was working around you.
The Greatest Gathering on TSW5 was a simple task anyone could do.
Get work in and place for the Greatest Gathering. You said you would deal with is all. I have evidence remember.
Meetings and discussions. Hence when the topic of R200 work came up then we would place R200 work on here as central location. Not for own work as that was for our own threads. I and we had the discussion from day one that this project would be hard and need 110 percent to achieve the success you said you also wanted a shared.

Hence I said to you and all members before Rudy joined that we needed a YT channel but we couldn’t make one.
So I looked and seen Rudy sat in his corner. I looked at his work and it was perfect.
Again it was brought up for discussion where the idea of you doing outside work with Rudy was mentioned. Even making scenarios with speedfreaks work but again you refused on that or any involvement with the HH, RN thread and even YT in general even tho you did see the potential. All this could have been fed to Rudy as a group or team supporting each other.
All the discussion on what to do as a R200 and as friends help each other. Again this was all discussed and agreed as a Team.

What you do outside of that is non of my business and as agreed I said and you wouldn’t get involved and I am not, you do what you like.
But when I feel that you went against some of what you say in a Team meeting and go the opposite way and you focused more on your own personal work when I trusted in you when you said you wanted this to be a success.
Does this sound like success if when I said let’s focus on providing R200 scenarios on my agreement with Rudy to film yet I feel I see nothing of that nature and only your one personal work when you seemed dead set against working with Rudy.
So again for me to see this is somewhat disappointing because of all that’s been discussed and agreed for peace of mind and easy of the project. Your task TG08 and one you said you would commit to my agreement with Rudy was to provide him with R200 content and for you to discuss these of any ideas with Rudy weeks ago. So again why I am I seeing personal work and no R200 if that is what your task was as a key R200 member.

So yes it’s freedom of expression and my right to speak on how I see it, and can be snappy when I like. If I am wrong then prove me wrong.
Where is R200 scenarios of many users content not just mine or SRs. Where is other users work that did there best yet been pushed out because of my work or SRs. I said to you that we must not discriminate work. Forget my work etc and SRs because I said what I make is as an outsider and you use if you want but use others work so not to be a one man show and again not to be disrespectful to others work by overlooking it. It’s for the community and seeing what they created.

How can this be achieved if it’s nothing but SRs work and work we use without knowing them or speaking to them.
I want to do that out of respect for the user behind SR even see if they would do a funky fictional work.
Even my work how can others get a chance if all this is ever used is my work or SRs.

The Project is about others TG08, not me not you not our five minutes of fame. I don’t care for that and why I’ll drop this like a Hat.
What you do I’m not interested in so to speak what I am is what I came to you for and what you said you would do.
That’s all I am interested in.

The end quality product for R200 in celebrating Railway 200 yet look at how we doing this all publicly ruins that quality and vision of success we apparently shared.

I’m annoyed because I feel you went behind my back, I gave in a let you have 3 task when I’ve been screaming out for more scenarios makers all to easy pressure for you because you said it was too much and even said you wanted out a few weeks ago.
Yet where was the R200 task pressure? There was non it was you wanting to work on your side yet I’m left with no scenario makes all because you wanted it you way with 3 Task. So forgive me but am I missing something here?.

Every time I asked you what do you have on for R209 task you say nothing so what are you doing then TG08 as a R200 team member that agrees to provide R200 scenario yet runs of working on YT videos that only 3 weeks back was dead set against.

If I am to listen to my own opinion on this mean I learnt a lot more about you and so will cut anyone out my life that back stabs me.
Or treats me like an idiotic person that needs work for R200 even get TTB on board to help while you kick ya feet up.

Hey I’m struggling a little and not even read anything other than this. I’m locking up Jimbo, I’m locking up, meaning hiding.

It’s hit me hard, even here now it’s very stressful.

But if I am to ignore what went on and say that the whole point of this project was to involve all work, so anything that comes in comes and was meant to be discussed as a team if we could find a use and then implement that.
So you livery on a service scenario, and then if you made something fancy or add wagons as again all that is at the Real Greatest Gathering I want there. Hence why this has been recently been made.

37 401, “Mary Queen of Scots” as it will be appearing at the event thanks to Locomotive Services Group.

It’s why I say it’s not hard because there is so many different types of work on CC that warrants a place I felt the Greatest Gathering on TSW5 would have. Display the all the historical stuff not just the usual work even over uses of one persons work.

The core idea of the Project is or was to make the Greatest Gathering on TSW5. If we couldn’t find everything on TSW5 then find away like I did with the art direction. Something I feel my team didn’t fully grasp. I was attempting to do art work for locos we don’t have on TSW5.
A massive feat and to find a way to make a scenario popular for a team mate on scenarios.
I gave them all my ideas first on a first dibs basis. So you see how adding art work to a theme for a scenario then to be filmed for something special for all.

So again it was a basic concept in theory use what we have on TSW5 use others work and see if a user was happy to be involved.
Based on basic respect and understanding or authority of use for when credits are due.
We know who contributes if there are here. Involved but not fully involved.

Like you Jimbo. You are involved but not directly involved with what goes on.
No direction to the Team and you no direction from us.

Free.

We simple ask if it’s okay to feature your work so credit can be given because that is what’s fair on a project of this size.
And why being here involved with R200 and the project your work could have been featured and promoted.
The benefit to you and any user contributing.

You support use and we will support you.
Not hard is it.

Framework to a task.
This is why I was so delighted to have TTB on board because what he was doing with steam and galas was all TTB idea and one I envisioned seeing. The difference in eras and a way for that side of the community to be involved.
Not to discourage or discriminate against steam or wagons and coach creators.
It allowed TTB to make what he had in mind for celebrating Railway 200 as a National event then have it brought into the spot light through this project. He supported us so again we supported him.

Yet Jimbo at the meetings we had a silly conversation about Road Maps. Something I was set against due to structural changes.
Meaning setting task for members that didn’t want to have tasks or a time frame to work to.
TTB was never a fully involved Team member he makes what he likes and if we use we use.
Which would have been the latter because it was a steam gala and could have been a way for TG08 to assist TTB with that side if sub 2 two was struggling. Again supporting them each step of the way.

The whole point from day one on what I gave and wanted to see was, they had freedom to create with what the core idea concept was.
Make the Greatest Gathering on TSW5, Get some historical context with services and scenarios and a bit of fun with fictional work and how they could be implemented for scenarios and the film content.

Yet Jimbo as you can see I felt that non of this happened, you work hard at what you do and your here and so supportive of us, what ever team I have left or had was meant to use your work because you committed.

To support members that may have not had much interest in the game or being here but one day we had a purpose of or being here.

Being part of something big for once, to make a change and to be proud of a great feel environment.
Sadly I feel the life has been kicked out of this project in one way or another.

I’m not looking at playing the blaming card either, as I’m the Team leader and so take full responsibility.
Do I now act on my mistakes or say that’s it folks it’s official all over because if I am to stick to agreements then nothing is official over until the Team agrees. So as part of that agreement I must discuss with all members be fully involved or as outside team member have the chance to cast a vote.

As again I have others to think about and again feel I have a responsibility for what goes on next as I’m sure some of my team mates had high hopes yet what now. End it because to carry on in this light wouldn’t be very professional nor good for other people or brands.

Or see again if others involved directly or indirectly feel about what to do next with a fragmented team.

All I can say is TG08 has put me and him in a difficult position.
The work for the Greatest Gathering on TSW5 or At The Event was and is my idea for community project and scenario.
If I remove all rights of use of my work and of the idea the TG08 what will you have.

Nothing if I remove all rights to my creative work and ideas. Even cut you off from this thread and as a community member.
Like I said to you last time TG08. Would you do the dirty on your Team mates by running of with others peoples ideas.

Especially when all team mates had trust and faith in each other. As men we all agreed.

And as a man I will stick to my agreement to any remaining R200 Team member, by having a casting vote.
As I say tho Jimbo I’m struggling and alone, and it will be hard for anyone to reach me if I lock up on coming back to this forum.

Because DTG will be at the Greatest Gathering and how cool would it have been if they gave a nod to us for trying to replicate the event for those that can’t go.

What a missed opportunity a.
People don’t need to say anything because their actions say it all.
DTG may have been respectful of what R200 where doing, maybe why nothing bigger has been announced.
I can only speculate, yet doubt anything I imagined happening has gone down the swan now.

I'm afraid I don't understand either. How do you create liveries for trains that aren't in the game? Or did you mean drawings like Jplayz is making?

Basically, if I upload it to here or the Creator's Club or YouTube, you can use it wherever for whatever purpose. I just wanted to make it plain that you have my permission to use my work but that I don't expect it to be used.

I don't understand. I thought TrainGeek was moving on to the Race for the North having completed two Railway 200 scenarios (one of which including my 387 livery) and that Rudy had made the trainspotting videos. Admittedly I've missed the links for those scenarios and it is highly unlikely that I'd be able to play them, but I could've sworn I'd seen something somewhere... I guess that's what happens after a short hiatus - you miss and forget things!

Projects have ups and downs. They always start with everyone full of energy as they throw ideas about and everything is new. Then the project grows, everyone figures out what they're doing and then that initial fun goes. That's why most passion projects seldom see the light of day. Take me. In Minecraft, I would often start a sandbox world with the intention to create a city (with light rail facilities, of course). Without fail, I would build two huge buildings, lose the fun I felt when starting and give up.

Your Railway 200 project is no different, except we have the added challenge of everyone having to live outside of it as well. If we are able to push past this point of minimum fun, then the thrill of a project nearing completion comes in to replace the fun of starting the project, culminating in satisfaction of the completed product.

Even the mighty Concorde had this problem, except instead of fun, Aerospatiale and BAC were sinking way too much money into the project. The only thing that kept them going was the penalty they had to pay each other for pulling out, but once they pushed through, they created an icon!

While the stakes aren't as high for this project (we aren't at risk of bankruptcy) the reward for completion will still be epic!

I have my opinions but it is best if I leave you and TG08 to figure this one out.

I maintain that the best way to get help is in person, but I am happy to take to the DMs again if you want to. Alternatively, perhaps a trip to the Waffles and Jam project may help.

I've managed to get the outlines of the grills done. I just need to do the details now as well as the bogies, etc...

 

Just another small update before I make some more progress:
->I've made a start on the front and I've completed most of the details. I now need to move onto the windows before I move on.

Okay important announcement.

I feel there is no need to continue contact with TG08 due to his actions on here. I did ask to prove me wrong and seem he’s is unable too.
I have also had news from Rudy as from Friday gone announcing his departure as an outside individual involved with R200 on his and my agreement to film any work created by TG08 or any other Team member set with those tasks.

Rudy has decided to leave due to it not being right for him.
So I have responded and respected his decision and so I and me will no longer have any further contact.

If I have no TG08 and no YT or no one directly involved then it’s said to say this is over.
Yet if I am to believe that TG08 publicly publishes or chosen to work with others off that theme or any theme discussed privately will be acted upon as I feel due to TG08 direct involvement with R200 then it’s a case of conflict of interests.

I’m not sure and so I will disband the old R200 which removes any past members or current members.
This is based on past issues that’s completely took the life out of such a vibrant idea.
I need a Team with passion and with man management skills whilst being part of a team.
To simply bring what we have on TSW5 together for The Greatest Gathering on TSW5 and try recreating some historical services.
Even new ones.

As Project Leader if I feel it’s right to continue with this R200 Project going of others feelings about progressing to anywhere close to what I had envisioned. Then I will place the R200 Project on hold so it allows me time to look at building a new team.

A new vibrant team that shares the same passion as me to make something special for celebrating Railway 200 as community fans.

So yes it’s so unfortunate that I feel somewhat let down when the task was simple and any team member had creative freedom to make it happen. It’s sad that TG08 has I can only assume now after post have been deleted washed his hands of me and any connection to R200 and the idea concept of At the Event or The Greatest Gathering on TSW5. Rudy has now departed which leaves me with Jplayz and TTB so that makes my life a little more easy if two old R200 want to be automatically rolled in to a New R200TGG Team.

I know you Jplayz have some ideas and I have a few options for YT. I’d be daft not to have a plan B
Yet again it’s very hard for me in my recent situation with medication and the stress of that Cat bite even if it’s sounds silly.
To be told I have 50/50 chance of losing my thumb or worse due to a deep week old infected wound did unnerve me. Worked hard on 3900 00X so TG08 had something to work with and for Rudy to film but hey it’s all over and in the past.

I’m moving on, I will place this R200 Project on hold and see what’s happens next.
As a person then I’ve been deeply affected and so has my state of mind, so I may be avoiding looking at post even DMs.
And why I say all this couldn’t have happened at a worse time but it’s not about me.

Those that remain and even placed faith in me to do what I set out to do mean I will be strong and I will short this out.

I respect your decision and I am happy to move over to the new R200 Team once everything has been put in place. I will continue with my own work for R200 for now, however I won't upload anything else until this move has happened so that I respect the agreements put in place. Wow you really are coming out of your shell. I'm happy your pursuing this particular livery as I know you had pushed it back so like the Andy's Man Club livery so it's great to see you going ahead with them

 

I can imagine how difficult that stage will be, so have you tried looking at blue prints for reference.
With no black shadows to hide the details you can see what’s what then. Add any shading on those part so they stand out against the black when you’re ready to infill. Working off models of any paperwork (Instructions) as I collected instructions sheets from plane models kits for this very reason. So there will be loads of model data available from say Alan Thomson studios as an example.
Even Hornby as they have model data available before any mould is produced.

So there are options available if you happen to get stuck. Or do what I do with my art work ones.
Find the main components first then add more details as you get a better understanding of where you are.
Use any ref points to then keep the work in check (Aligning correctly) this is so you remain consistent and not stray away from actual accuracy points that can throw a spanner in the works later on if adding details but didn’t cater for that particular detail.

Good planning now can and will avoid any headaches later on down the line.

Yes I’ve left a message on DMs, so again we can discuss the next steps once we establish our next move.
My feelings on the work you are doing are aimed towards promotional work or things that could be used for intros for videos.
Basically it’s Ai art work or a photo that could be cut and pasted, or left as a photo with the background or even fonts as you could do it as a poster work. So the class 37 could be a poster for TGG, so a background could be a shed down at Derby.
Then if you move onto the 390 that to could be a poster designed for advertising the APT or WCML theme of your own conception.
Have a look at the old stickers of APT that you could drop in as a nostalgic look to the work.

In fact I feel classing the work as a poster gives your work a place and purpose.
I have a plan and so a poster with some fun nostalgia references might just work. Designing a poster for PR purposes is like developing something in a marketing advertisement agency too if you pull it off.

Similar to the B&W LNER one I did a few years back for the A4 heritage project. A bit of fun and so the tools you have available I’d be using for marketing or advertisement. A photo yet drop some text in and then it’s a poster

Would that be a possible way forward. It’s a clear objective that clears any doubts about the work you have already placed in this project will not be wasted or has no purpose.

And yes I’m interested as it’s graphic design based yet I will explain more in a DM of my situation right now.

Yep again I’ve had a few personal issues that delayed any further progress but the biggest delay was the shift from TOC based liveries to that of fictional work such as HH, and RN UK. This was a decision I took of the back of a conversation with HIM.

Why we had the 69s with 47 510 “Bell Rock” to be added due to its historical ref to the Robert Stevenson. It took some pressure of worrying what to do about the GBRf 66s and the 390 with altering the logo so much.

Only now do I feel comfortable to take a risk by working on the 390 and 66s.
The 390 has been completely redesigned from scratch logos the lot. She’s looking good tho

I’ll show you a quick peek later on to hear if you have any suggestions.

And thank you. I use my shell for in and out situations and my rock for long term hiding.
So if you hear me say rock then it’s a long break or no return at all to some topics.

Well, it looks like we have some plans for the drawings and some progress on the Pendolino! It's looking really good!

I, however, am running out of ideas for liveries... I was struggling to decide what colour to make the next livery so I decided to remove colour completely for the 323. I may may some tweaks to this or I may not. I'll have to see.

Hmm I might have an idea or two for you. As I'll be working on my graphics, I may be able to be your guiding mind for your next one if you're up for it. I already have some for GBR which may tie into R200 if you stretch it slightly. But let me know what you think and then if you want to do this I can send you ideas just to try out.

Time off, don’t stop mate. My boss would have to remind me of all the holidays I had left because I didn’t take time off.
Why waste money when I could earn it for when I need a long holiday, retirement.
It’s like owing tractor but not fully using it to get ya money worth out of it before it fails.
Look after it and might last longer.

My body is a tractor or machine. Most of what we eat is chemically processed. Water is contaminated the list goes on so I don’t consume much to, I ask the body to adjust and deal with a less food the processed chemicals to do damage to the body.
Consuming or consumerism is to provide Jobs and taxes. It’s not about health. Did we have five a day as cave men.
Yet where here today after our ancestors survived harsher conditions than today.

So to answer your questions is I don’t know when to stop. Boxing again ya see. Don’t go down, down go down.
Be a lion remember that animal.

As a quick example from 9:00 o clock yesterday I was messing around with this 390 I’ll show ya, sent a few messages in between and then worked from my last message to you till when I passed out last night. Must have been around half two. Got up at 8:00 and then been working until my first message to you and one this morning to another community member.
Once I’m done here I will jump back on to it until I pass out, the night before that I stayed up all night.

Sorry it’s a long waffle, but I cannot stop thinking of so much work, I’m getting loads of information coming in away from this forum.
There’s so much potential yet seems some are slow to see it.

If we agree to what I DM you and TTB about, hopefully the public might engage with our next project.
Because like with R200 of old it’s about getting a team together do something for the great of good.
By each member bringing their own set of skill and passions for big projects in what they love.

As loyal fans to DTG now their involvement with Railway 200 is widely known now. As individuals as well as community members that love trains what TSW offers and pull it all together to celebrate Railway 200.

DTG will be there man, so if we or I go head and with the community and did pull this next project off then we could be proud of what we did together for the enjoyment for others. It’s what communities do, work together not against each other.

Where is the pride in taking all the glory if it seems empty and shallow. What we do should be for the sake of the people not for greed or self worth.

For others. I work hard because I’m in a community and I love what I do.
So to me Jplayz I don’t stop because I love something. If you or anyone else loves something do we stop.
Eventually maybe yes, (Dark days of the past) for me. Yet like I mentioned on the Andy’s man club topic it’s about accepting oneself.
Having the confidence to speak up or even talk. And why if I am to be brutally honest about my dogged determination to make TGG is to bring others from out of hiding.

Help more members that might feel less comfortable being around a site like this or fear of any toxic comments or sly remarks that could have negative effects for others of low self esteem. I’ve been there so I know what’s it’s like to feel left out or uncomfortable in a social setting.

A quick progress report on a Railway 200 livery. Been sat for a while as one of the original livery’s seen on the opening of this thread.
The shots I’m about to show is guidance for use on the GBR Concept thread on Passenger information etc, so is still at the WIP stage.


The use of a Jig to even things out or to be used as a template for side switching of seat numbers etc.
Helps form a basis for levelling extra decals at a later stage or avoid having mass grouping issues.
Small scale groups that can be easily identified put in order or independently adjusted if necessary.
Each one kept in position by use of a jig set to a specific reference point on the model.

Hello, yes it’s great to see movement, and the drive from old R200 members including community side too
I’ve not forgotten about you, just been doing a lot of thinking lately.

I’m not sure what to suggest for ideas on the outside as anything I do have now is a closely guarded after what happened.
I’ve got so much to do still but with only a few members around for what I have in mind.

Why I’m still leaving the door open here to see if there’s still a chance find new energy with a 110 percent commitment to form a new team or relationships for the environment we share. The goals we might share now or ideas sat for a rainy day.
Energy you see Jimbo. I have the energy and the vision to still carry on but when I feel a slave to what I am doing or energy is lost by constant man management then for me that’s fun being taken away and replaced with duties. A slave and that I will not be.

What I am trying to say Jimbo is I’m done begging for I only find what I do. Why I don’t trust man full stop.
We can all make our own choices and so I leave it at that now

For the livery you have done looks, well odd yet quite stylistic at the same time.
If there’s anything I would suggest tho is core theme. The point or purpose behind why you’re working on what you are.
Are you doing something with a clear vision or making something for making sake.
If so the message will be lost and there will be no passion or drive whilst making it.
A clear vision (Goal) gives you the drive to achieve that goal.

I mentioned a few time here and there about a logo or brand speaking. A livery must do the same thing and the only way to achieve that is by having a core theme in what does that represent. Railway 200 for me is about historical context mixed with retro design or very modern.
I see so much going on and why for me ideas come daily because it’s everywhere.
I’m fed information where ever I go. Influenced, knocked, swayed, directed. Did I do anything that had the same effect on those I contacted.
Where all watching.

Pulling all that information from small ideas to big ideas together makes something that appears as nothing but it isn’t.
It’s opportunity, all day long.

So going back to your work and ideas then simple aim first means you have all you aims clearly defined now and not later.
If you don’t have any clear aim or objective now then the message is lost before your start. That’s losing all aims and objectives of the message because all your aims and objectives where not clearly defined from the go.

I’m facing the same issues not in the aim or objective but in that I didn’t full plan head on how to implement it as the theme not core altered during the test stages to end design. Hence that clear aim or message I had planned for the 390 is getting slightly distorted at the moment.
Just another challenge that will no doubt come with a better solution than I anticipated at the beginning of development.

I use to write musics and draw movies or stories boards. I like film.
If writing a song I’d find a subject matter. Was it happy or sad. If so you have a theme. Bright or dark. So the sound or lyrics would then have or make more of a meaningful impact that one of just sound. That doing a livery or song just because it’s making one for making sake not creating something with a voice or purpose. Meaning.
And same with film work, slow pace or fast paced. Slow camera movements or fast cuts. Music in a film sets a tone or layer to what’s on screen, this adds tension or excitement even sorrow or empathy for a character.

I see liveries as the same. They can mean something or not. Why am I making this. What purpose does it serve.
All these are some of the questions I’d ask before doing anything. Most do work because it’s a hobby, that’s a purpose yet with being creative or doing fictional work then I’d have to create a purpose for it to be relevant to CC users. That’s down to me or the creator to make all this happen because it’s takes thought and imagination over just copying something.

So you can see all the time I have to think about bringing all that data together for an idea to be born.
And as a creative person naturally enjoy the experience of making something happen out of all that data or information gained.
It is fun to do and why I am to continue in some fashion. If anyone wants to share that experience then for now the door is still open.

Because I have plans but will only share with those I can trust and right now my energy is all devoted to those plans.
Yet I am more than willing to share that energy with others willing to do the same.

I feel that’s only fair.
As I know first hand spending to much time in one place or to one persons will to distract pulls me away from others.

So I will DM you soon. I did say would and I will follow up on that now I’m free.

Right I've had a think while stuff at home has been going on and that livery really is a bit silly. I'll remove the Railway 200 branding from it (I like the design but the R200 logos just look weird on it).

That is fine - I've got a few ideas now thanks to Mr Mystery.

Yes absolutely. I had forgotten completely about having a vision. You've somehow managed to find the entire story behind that livery before I had! I'll make a new livery for the 323 and do it some justice later (after a couple of other liveries I have planned). That zebra livery has no business with Railway 200.

Ooh wow that's nice! A stark contrast to your career! My life is a bit more narrow (not that that's a bad thing).

I tried really hard, but liveries just don't speak to me like that. I'm not a creative person at all. I find most satisfaction from mechanics and seeing engineering perfection (it's why I liked Transformers as a child - the transformations were just so satisfying).
So yes. liveries (or indeed art in general) look nice but I really struggle to find meaning out of them. That doesn't mean they don't have meaning. Just that I can't see it.

I think that is fair.

All is absolutely fine. I've finished with the Voyagers for now - they were only really for the bulk of the work that took me away from here last month. I haven't made any real journeys like that so have managed to avoid the heat for the most part.
