differences are well known but one common thing not many knows is: none of them should use 4k (hd for s, and 1440p for x are only performance setup - higher res is slidedhow)
I mean is there a difference performance like memory, ram and other things like that. I have an Xbox x. Just wondering how they stack up against eachother.
There is no 1440P option in game, only HD or 4K. TSW2 routes and older do run fine on 4K on Series S. I do have a VRR monitor with LFC, so I only notice it when FPS drops to low. Routes from TSW3 and newer are stuttery on 4K.
CPU is almost the same, Series S has only 10GB RAM and the GPU is weaker. So yes, Series X has more performance.
1440P and a better quality HD are welcome. HD mode doesn't look like 1080P, AA is bad and it's like details are missing.
DTG Matt Hi just a out of memory crash on the loading screen. Whilst trying to get in frankfurt s bahn route.
Do you use quick resume or do you close the game fully after playing? There are multiple games having issues with quick resume, so I always fully close the game. To close, press Xbox home button short > select TSW5 in the menu > press hamburger button > select the option for closing the game and confirm.
That sounds like something that someone who always quick resumes and never closes the game fully might say
Been playing a lot of WCMLS recently and the performance levels have drastically improved. The only spot where performance drops is the approach to Bletchley from London. Strangely enough though it’s fine if you come from Milton Keynes direction.
DTG Matt I'm lucky if I can even boot the game up with every single piece of DLC installed. When successful it takes well in excess of 5 minutes, but 9 times out of 10 it just results in a crash to dashboard during the loading screen. I'm doing a fresh install to a clean SSD overnight to see if that changes anything, will report back in the morning.
That's odd. I have literally every piece of DLC in the catalogue and it's never failed to load for me. Let me know how you get on with reinstall. Which platform? Must admit my PS5 is lacking some content - but my Series S and X have everything. Matt.
