Why can't you take a Thalys timetable on the Cologne-Aachen route? It only runs as a single train. You could take it as a single train. LG
Lr-D 73219 (BR 146.2): uncompletable. Through several holds and LZB slowdowns, this empty stock move is interesting up to Ehrenfeld Gbh, where there is another scheduled hold. But from that point, you are stuck behind a perma-red with a "no route available"; it seems the pathing for this service was never finished.
ICE 657: stuck on red before Technologiepark A RE8 (10833) service is stuck just before the platform of koln, maybe in deadlock with IC26. epicgames
It was modified after release of Mannheim-Kaiserslautern so it could run on German voltage, so it's possible now.
Voltage, perhaps (although I’m not sure if that factors much with AI trains, but the signalling systems are key. Also I don’t think the voltage is selectable in the cab, because the TGV isn’t the type that goes to Germany.
Uhh yes it is. You can select the German voltage with the pantograph selector now. And signals just work, only the safety systems (PZB and SIFA) don't work as intended. And yes, this is not as it is in reality (wrong type of TGV), but it is simulated as such in game.
I also noticed the lights on the BR 103.1. And I was wondering how LZB works on this loco. I'm familiar with LZB on newer trains like ICE for which you just have to set AFB and throttle to max and it basically drives itself. I guess that does not work on this loco. This is manual I guess when the G light turns on, you will have to apply brakes. yes?
That's right. The BR 103 doesn't have AFB you have to brake yourself when the "G" light comes on. Das ist richtig. Die BR 103 hat keine AFB, man muss selbst abbremsen, wenn das "G" aufleuchtet.
Certainly seems like the ICE-T isn't in the PS5 timetable. the 7:53 off Koeln platform 7 is an ICE-T and isn't there. Is this deliberate or an error?
Koln – Aachen (PS5 and Epic Games) • Added the free timetable update for Koln – Aachen, increasing the total service count from 552 to over 4000 (around 600 of which are playable) with the relevant add-ons. • Added ICE T to appear as an AI train on the route. This line in the patch notes suggests the PS5 should be there, so maybe it's an oversight that needs fixing.
In general, LZB implementation on the 146.2 is wonky in the extreme. In particular, when an adverse signal ahead clears, the LZB speed bug does not "jump" up as it should, but climbs slowly towards the new speed set, while your train continues to brake until its speed gets down to where the gradually ascending bug is. This can't be right; no other engine behaves like this. (Also, the LZB/PZB points glitch has not been fixed, making platinum impossible)
Hey. Der TGV fährt in Germany. Zum Beispiel nach Stuttgart und München. Ich glaube sogar nach Mannheim.
I don’t know if I’m doing something wrong, but when I was driving the Updated ICE 406 When driving on LZB I had PZB turned on when you go on LZB IT SAYS TURN ON PZB FOR EXTRA POINTS AND I’VE ALREADY TURNED IT ON WHEN I DID THE SERVICE EARLIER. I DON’T KNOW IF I’M DOING SOMETHING WRONG OR IS IT JUST ANOTHER ISSUE
No its a bug when lzb takes over you should still 65 points but you dont been like that for a while now.
I also had this with the BR146 (the Dresden version). LZB didn't work and I got this message. There are differences between the different issues of the 146. The Frankfurt one seems to react a bit different.
Its a problem inherent to TSW5: if LZB is active, the scoring system reads PZB as being "off." Many complaints, no fix.
Seems to be train specific on this route as I had the bug doing a 101 run but it was fine when I did a run in the Flixtrain Vectron.
Also confirmed: the ICE1 works as intended. The BR 146 from Dresden does suffer from this bug, the one from Frankfurt-Fulda however doesn't. So it seems to be train specific indeed. The DB Vectron from Frankfurt still suffers from the ATB/PZB scoring bug. Plus: it doesn't seem to depend on route, same bug occurs on the LZB section on Frankfurt-Fulda, which AFAIK is the only other route with an LZB section that has the new scoring system.
Rogue 500 Hz magnet: approaching Koln Hbf, associated with signal Hs 325. Stays energised even when the signal is displaying Slow Clear (ie green/yellow), causing improper ZB
Will add that the scoring issue related to not getting credit for safety systems that are being used is a bit annoying.
Dutch safety system. When it was implemented on the DB 193, it caused the points bug because either ATB or PZB is considered "switched off" for the scoring system. If you switch the Vectron to Dutch voltage (open CB, lower pantograph, select Dutch voltage, raise pantograph, close CB) you'll see the indicators for it on the primary display.
So yeah, when nearing Frankfurt(Main)HBF the first cart of an ice hits the wall when going under the bridge, the pantograph line (and pantograph itsself) go through the roof in the next small arch after the iron bridge and when entering rail2 every cart clips through the corner of the perron when entering. (noticed with ICE 15 Brussels - Frankfurt)
this update brought my working Epic Games German and UK install to a stuttering mess. Only shutting down all but Kóln layers brought this back to running smoothly. I have not had to limit layers for any other route. Also had to turn off substituions and all of my User repaints and Creator repaints. Someone new to TSW would think what, i can't imagine.
