Creation Sharing Strecke Hannover - Hamburg

Moin, erstmal bin ich sehr begeistert von deiner Strecke und freue mich auch schon drauf. Ihr als Streckenbauer habt meinen Respekt was ihr in eurer Freizeit an tollen projekten arbeitet. Ich wollte sie fragen ob sie auch die Abstellanlage Hannover Pferdeturm und Hamburg Langenfelde mit in das Spiel bringen.

 

It looks really amazing and yes, a route is a massive undertaking. For a single person during their free time, that is a huge investment and commitment of time and quite frankly, it is really awesome what you have accomplished so far. Length-wise it is also on the larger end of the routes so far released for TSW.

It takes easily half an hour by ICE to get from Altona to Harburg and the viaduct route with many iconic landmarks in Hamburg makes it very daunting. The Elbbrücken allow a wide view into the harbour area of Hamburg which adds to the difficulty. I can't remember this route being done for any trainsim so far. Therefore, if this route finally releases, it will be an amazing feat of engineering.

Iconic landmarks visible: Elbphilharmonie, Old Elbe tunnel portal, Landungsbrücken, Michel, Neue Flora, Rote Flora, Town hall, TV tower, University main building

The stations are also quite iconic: Hamburg Dammtor, Hamburg Hbf, Uelzen (designed by Hundertwasser).

 

Ein Ende vom Projekt ist nicht in Sicht, keine Angst. Ich als riesiger Metronom Fan will natürlich die Strecke fertig stellen.

 

Vielen Dank für dein Interesse an meinem Projekt! Hannover-Pferderturm wird auf jeden Fall dabei sein, das ist sogar schon angefangen. Ob Hamburg Langenfelde dabei sein wird weiß ich noch nicht zu 100%, jedoch denke ich schon weil das die Möglichkeit eines realistischeren Betriebes bieten würde. Vor allem ICEs würden dann dort anfangen und starten (nach Fahrplan).

TSW Records for Length and Amount of Drivable Services. I hope progress will continue faster in the next half year

yea, I made some progress in the last 8 Weeks, but I haven't had the time to take pictures jet. Unfortunately the development will be a lot slower now, since I don't have a lot of time currently to work on the project :/

Hi everyone,
I hope you all have had a great week so far.
I thought I would give an update again, since the last one is a couple weeks old now. Currently, I am still working on the project and have completed little sections here and there, jumping around quite a lot. I have continued working my way from Harburg to Stelle, Hamburg Hbf to Elbbrücken and around Lüneburg. Unfortunately older parts of the Route around Hannover for example are still built with old tracks and in general need an update. I started to switch out the tracks in those areas as well as starting to add more scenery and Signals.

Hast Du in der Zwischenzeit eine Idee, wie dein Projekt unter die Leute gebracht werden soll? Denn irgendwie muß sich der Aufwand ja zumindest ein wenig lohnen?

In the meantime, do you have any idea how your project should be publicised? Because somehow the effort has to be at least a little worthwhile? Officially via Dovetail or as freeware in some kind of ways to donate.

 

For PC players it would be possible to make it available as pak file to put into the game's DLC folder. If the structure is correct then it would be picked up by the game.

 

Mal schauen, derzeit ist das Projekt pausiert da ich derzeit im Urlaub bin und das kommende Schuljahr mein Abschluss Jahr ist und ich mich da auf mein Abitur konzentrieren muss. Aber mal schauen, sicherlich wird es hier und da mal etwas Zeit geben, jedoch werde ich bei weitem nicht so viel Zeit für das Projekt haben wie die letzten Jahr.

I can only talk for myself, but I would definitely pay money to own this route, simply out of respect for you and for the time/effort that has been and is still being invested in this project.

Ich kann zwar nur für mich reden, aber ich würde definitiv Geld zahlen, um diese Route zu besitzen, einfach aus Respekt an dich und für die Zeit/den Aufwand, der in dieses Projekt investiert wurde und noch wird.

 

Danke für die netten Worte. Das Projekt ist mit dieser Pause auf keinen Fall beendet und ich werde das Projekt auf jeden Fall weiter machen da mir die Strecke ziemlich am Herz liegt. Jedoch wird das ganze für das nächsten 10 Monate deutlich langsamer vorangehen. Aber mal schauen...
