Okay, now here's another Marketplace Proposal. This time, it's for liveries for the "GEML Class 90 Loco Add-On". I think there are a few liveries Missing from this: BR Intercity Swallow, Virgin Trains Livery, and Greater Anglia liveries. In case you don't know which liveries I'm talking about, here they are: British Rail Intercity Swallow: Virgin Trains Livery: Greater Anglia: Now as always, I will leave the links to the websites I found these photos on to avoid any form of plagiarism. Websites: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/British_Rail_Class_90 https://www.hattons.co.uk/225764/ho..._standard_coach_pre_owned_im/stockdetail.aspx http://train-photos.com/picture/number8833.asp https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Virgin_Trains https://www.hattons.co.uk/73847/hor...motorised_pre_owned_like_new/stockdetail.aspx https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Greater_Anglia_(train_operating_company) https://www.flickr.com/photos/dwbphotos/18190018292 Now I really do hope that Dovetail Games, or whoever's in charge of making the add-ons for Train Simulator sees my proposal, and decides to make the add-on, then make it available for Train Simulator. As always, please tell me your thoughts/opinions on my proposal. Your voice really matters to me.
Again, just buy the pack from AP's website instead of Steam. https://www.armstrongpowerhouse.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=45_92&product_id=131
Everything you're suggesting is either available on AP's website as part of a loco or MU pack or a free reskin.
The model of the Class 90 in the Game was made by Armstrong Powerhouse and I suspect that DTG only had the license to have the one livery otherwise they would take revenue from AP. The pack from AP has 17 different liveries for the loco Peter
The AP pack won't be usable for Workshop scenarios tho, this is where a Marketplace version would be good. From what I've heard the AP Freightliner Class 90 version was originally going to be a Marketplace release...
Another problem with buying from AP is that they update their packages to include more of their dependencies and in the case of the Class 90 pack they don’t publish the extra payware on the product page; you now apparently need to buy a Class 318 and a Class 325 enhancement pack for scenarios that used to work just fine. With the excessive dependencies AP is almost totally inaccessible to new TSC players and that is why despite purchasing a lot of their content I have uninstalled it all; where is the fun in a hobby where you can’t share the experience with others for a reasonable cost? Ironically if AP put the other liveries in the market place I would probably buy and recommend them.
I think reskins for the GEML class 90 and DVT would be enough. There are one or two freeware reskins for the loco but a reskin for the DVT would enable it to be used for Virgin Trains loco hauled services.
If you look at the web page for the class 90 and read what is says https://www.armstrongpowerhouse.com/rolling_stock/locomotive2/class_90-mk3_dvt_pack And not only did you not see this list you also missed the important text Scenario Requirements Please note that these items are only required if you would like to use the scenarios included in this pack. If you would only like to use the class 90/Mk3 DVT in your own scenarios instead of the included ones, then these items are not required I would not go buying a load of extra stock just to watch the thing going past at over 100mph and you can use LocoSwap to change out what you don't own for something you do own. Peter
You mean like this? https://www.trainsimcommunity.com/m...locomotives/i3820-virgin-locos-branding-patch Maybe ask if something is available instead of complaining it is not
If you had actually READ, his post, you'd have seen that he mentioned THE BUNDLED SCENARIOS and that these now apparently also require the Class 318, and the Class 325 _Enhancement Pack_ (NOT just the basic Class 325 pack) which, if you had also actually READ what you copied in, is NOT mentioned in the list of requirements.
There is nothing to stop the user swapping the AP 325 for the DTG 325 At the end of the day you have to spend lots of money to play just a few scenarios. You don't have to play them just because they are included.
Bit selfish but I wish Richard had updated the AP Waggonz class 90 pack scenarios so that they used his Class 318 pack. Instead of the DRB Sim stuff 318.It will not swap out using TSTools.
I think he has done - see the post #8 from TrainsAndWellbeing above. You might find LocoSwap will change units that TSTools does not like to.
I downloaded the Class 90 directly from AP and installed it, and checked all the scenarios with LocoSwap, there has not been any such update, all the bundled scenarios still use the old DRB_Simstuff 318 (which is included with Extra Stock) and the regular 325
After those years of not bothering with Locoswap just tried it and you are both correct swapped the Class 318s no problem thanks.
Thank you for checking this out. I reinstalled the Extra Stock pack and now I've got one of the included scenarios loaded which is important for me as I really want to drive this on the WCML North route. So for the record we apparently don't need the Class 318 EP although I've not tried all the included scenarios. I love the AP stuff but the time required to set it all up can be a bit of an issue. I'd like to see more of their stuff becoming part of Train Simulator Classic like for example the Huddersfield Line with the AP Class 158, even perhaps a paid upgrade via Steam to replace all the old stock with AP enhanced stuff which would make a lot of the scenarios included over the years much better; Train Simulator Classic Pro Edition perhaps? We can dream.
