Welcome to the Unofficial Screenshot Competition! This is a fun and friendly alternative to the official Screenshot Competition run by DTG. Here you can share your weekly themed TSC screenshots using any 3rd party / post shot editing etc. creations which are not allowed in the official competition. Rules: TSC only shots allowed. Screenshot should be in some way (can be very tenuous) linked to the theme. Otherwise anything goes. You can enter up to 3 screenshots, posted as separate posts. You can delete and replace if you wish. 3rd party content / Re-shades / Reskins etc. are welcomed but are not mandatory. Previous week's winner to decide winner (can't enter themselves). The winner chooses the new theme for next week (and becomes the new judge). The Judge of the week's decision is final. We strongly discourage any negative comment or criticism of another entry by a fellow contributor. This is a light hearted & fun contest! This is a major "we are all friendly" thread and we hope it will always remain so. Please keep chat to an absolute minimum. Entries will close at 10PM GMT on Saturday, July 5th 2025 and will be judged by me - Limeyfox In the event of this week's winner not responding by 10PM GMT on Sunday, July 6th 2025, a new thread will be created using the results of this week's poll. The theme for this week is: "Summer Saturday" Feel free to interpret the theme however you wish. Good luck to you all.

Back in the 1970s / 1980s you could buy a "Weekend Mystery Excursion" ticket at Wolverhampton station, for a surprise summer's day out to an unknown destination. One such destination was the beautiful seaside town of Llandudno on the North Wales Coast. 40 136 can be seen here pulling one of said services on a glorious Saturday morning.
Restored Class 31 "D5515" takes an enthusiast's special over the Settle & Carlisle on a beautiful "Summer Saturday" morning.
Summer + Saturday + Great central Railway = Gala fun for all, especially when it involves a double headed Large Prairie combination .
*************** BONUS SHOT ************** NOT FOR COMP JUDGING Technically it is still Summer in the UK and today is Saturday, just saying Must admit when you throw a bit of AP Sky/Weather and their MK1 coaches in the mix, the old Woodhead In Blue route takes on a whole new feel. I have just had an absolute ball re-visiting the wonderful Class 76. Not the easiest of locos to master but once you do .......... OMG what a fantastic piece of DLC.
Some very arty shots this week, I love it! A decent number of entries so I feel confident in awarding the following prizes: In Third Place, Craigie-C's bright and cheerful shot of Quorn and the two Prairies (although as a lifetime GWR-fan I must take slight issue, they're Small Prairies ) View attachment 197554 In Second Place, this innovative low-angle image from burnsys_bashes of an EE Type 4 a long way from its normal stamping ground. I didn't realise Helensburgh had an overall roof, it makes me want to visit there myself. View attachment 197469 And in this week's First Place I award the win to Blazin for the quintessential Summer Saturday shot, which I believe might be Smardale Viaduct? Either way I can see, smell, hear (and probably taste) this photo, so its a worthy winner! View attachment 197508 The single-line token is therefore handed over to Blazin for next week's competition. (By the way, that Woodhead shot is **drool**)
Thank you very much for 1st place and congratulations to the other winners! I will hopefully have a new thread up sometime later today here in Australia
