Out Now Providence/stoughton Line Hsp46 – Out Now!

Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong here? I own Boston-Providence already and have logged in and out of Steam and the game several times but do not see the new train or Scenarios anywhere.....

 

You need the other mbta line

 

On time table mode you have the option to either version, Worcester and Boston sprinter versions

If you also own MBTA Commuter the pack will download automatically. If you do not own MBTA Commuter, you'll need to purchase the pack or the MBTA Commuter route.

 

Just acquired this after buying the MBTA route.

Oooo she’s a magnificent noisy beast!! So much so I missed the station stop on the TC introductory run and having to go round the circuit again…

 

If I buy the MBTA Commuter route now, will I also get the HSP46 pack free, or is that offer only for those who owned MBTA Commuter prior to HSP46 release?

 

I just bought it and got the free pack so basically £15 for the route (half price in Steam sale) and Providence gameplay pack for free. Bargain!

Pretty solid. I used to feel lonely spawning HSP trains in on the original timetable. Thanks DTG.

 

Even though I don’t have the MBTA Commuter DLC (so can’t take advantage of the deal) and rarely play Boston-Providence, I applaud the decision to make this pack free for existing owners. It’s the right thing to do… enhances the value of MBTA Commuter (which probably isn’t selling as well as other, more requested routes) and simultaneously gives non-owners the option to take advantage of its rolling stock without paying for the whole route.

I’m really delighted by the more creative gameplay packs over the past few months, makes me excited for the TSW6 era.

 

I suspect DTG are learning that rolling stock sells; routes are just places for rolling stock to run.

 

Just a random question, why is this pack called 'Providence/Stoughton'? why not Boston?

 

Because that's the official name of the line.

 

Before I open a support ticket, I'd like to know if I have missed something.

If I already own Boston - Worcester, I should be getting this one for free, right ? Because I do have the route, but I am missing this DLC in my library, and on steam it's not free either. Am I missing something or should I open a support ticket for it ?

 

It's downloaded automatically. It is also a dlc for boston sprinter so you need that too
