I hope this comes up in the roadmap soon. There are so many things in the roadmap that’ve been there for ages anyway

 

This looks fantastic, I can't wait to see it in the game. Hopefully, we will get some more steam loco's to run on it too

 

Such a shame that Great Content such as this can't be shared with consoles I've been to Whitby loads of times and those screen shots look like you've just took photos and stuck some fake water on the platform very well done

 

I believe the guy who started this has been taken on as a 3rd party so a console release will happen.

 

They did confirm in August 2023 that they are now working with DTG to make this into an official DLC

 

Excellent work and a welcome addition to UK content.

 

It would be great if Andy Gough could give an update, even if just to confirm this is still in active development.

Don’t think so? Any unannounced add-ons have the third party company name on the side of the graphic or for DTG none at all, All-Aboard Studios is making that Crewe route I’m pretty sure.

 

I think you’re right. Hopefully this route will emerge soon and be released for TSW6.

 

Maybe the creator here hasn’t made a name (literally) for himself yet.. we’ll see soon enough anyway

 

That's most likely the route associated with the teaser image we got in the April 2025 Roadmap which clearly showed a modern day Crewe station

Yeah, this green Thomas add-on that’s definitely not a reskin! I think the roadmap description is vague enough to mean that it could be the Thomas one?

 

No the unannounced UK route is clearly All-Aboard Studios.

 

Well the AAS one is listed on the May Roadmap on one side, and the unannounced one is listed in the 0-3 months as a ‘gameplay pack’, so I’m now even more certain it was just this Thomas one.

 

Thomas was probably the gameplay pack.

I did find it odd how they added the Gameplay pack and then prodceeded to completley ignore it in the roadmap

Yes should still be, probably out for TSW 6.

 

All we know is that it's been picked up by DTG's third party programme, you won't hear anything more about it until an official announcement now. That could be six months from now or could be well over a year away, nobody knows. It's a solo developer project unless that changed behind the scenes, I would expect it to be a long way off.

Do many other people who work on the NYMR play TSW and would they be excited at this route being released?

 

I also volunteer on the nymr, a lot of people play train sim world. I’m just hoping they’ll be some new steam locos that arnt made by DTG because shown by the jubilee, and 8f ect, along with all the train simulator dovetail locos, they’re shocking.

 

They’re not perfect but I still enjoy doing a railtour. They look nice when panning around, sometimes they sound good too but at slower speeds. It would be so good if steam can be sorted one day and we get a decent variety of locos.

 

There are certainly a few, perhaps more on trainsim classic
