I definitely know someone on forums is constantly spammimg comments on my YouTube videos

and again I've reported whoever has been calling me a spammer on my YouTube video comment section

Ok, for the last time I was not spamming the forums if I was then there would be multiple posts from me in one go and I only did only one nonsensical thread once the others were months ago, also this one is not a nonsensical thread,

All this thread was about why DTG hasn't dropped gen 8 and converted to UE5, ofc before TSW6 was announced lots of people speculated that TSW6 was going to be gen 9 only and switching to UE5, by looking at recent add-ons like Manchester Airport Commuter, Frankfurt S Bahn and DB BR 194/ E94 railtour pack was gen 9 exclusive ofc it was obvious that TSW6 was going to be gen 9 exclusive.

I'm not spamming, I didn't continuously post every second, and also there's nothing wrong with using AI for threads it doesn't break any rules.

 

A "poll" where both options are yes is spam in my book


Then creating a thread against Gen 9 only routes (originally both options on this poll was NO, before you added further options) hours after further thread saying TSW6 is doomed because it hadn't dropped Gen 8 on the same day is not only spam, but also contradictory in my book.

 

What are you talking about this poll was made yesterday, Your Gen 9 poll was also made yesterday, thats 2 in one day. Your Xbox one was made last Sunday.

Well yeah about the polls, I was wrong about that but still the recent so-called nonsensical threads aren't nonsensical and yes these gen 9 exclusive route shouldn't have been gen 9 exclusive, it should have also been available on gen 8 but there's got to be a valid reason on why it's gen 9 exclusive and if not then it's just unfair on gen 8 players

So TSW6 is doomed because its supporting Gen 8 because its "holding the game back" (newsflash - it isnt), but the Gen 9 only routes are wrong and should have been available on Gen 8?

Well TSW6 is kinda doomed because TSW6 is still holding onto gen 8 which means no longer routes, we'll just be having these short unpleasant routes but about the gen 9 exclusive add-ons I just personally thought they should have been on gen 8 also but plus other games are dropping gen 8 so why can't TSW6 I'm sure DTG is just going to make future routes gen 9 exclusive and it's bad for gen 8 players because they won't be able to play these routes.

 

But they wont be able to play any routes on TSW6 if DTG drop Gen 8, is that not even worst?

 

I put it down to the breakneck nonstop action and hardcore AI use that boy is doing, it's scrambling is brain and now all he got is a gooey mess in his head.......

It's the worst, recent TSW5 add-ons cant be on gen 8 because of performance issues, then DTG shouldn't make TSW6 for gen 8 because, I'm sure the core routes are going to be gen 9 exclusive which is just a game over for gen 8 players

I wouldn’t say that they are basic routes on gen8 Frankfurt HBF had performance issues with a reduced timetable. On Frankfurt S-Bahn are many services and a reduced timetable would felt empty.

 

This thread is flip-flopping. Gen 8 is getting supported and dropped like an indecisive nan at a bra fitting.

Guys, I'm not a member of the community team, so I hold no sway here, but can I please ask that everyone back away? The likelihood is that this thread will likely be locked by Monday morning, as there have probably been reports flying left, right, and centre.
I know everybody here has a passion for the product, whether their views are positive, negative, or neutral, but this going around in circles isn't going to promote proper discussion and will probably give the community team a headache they'd rather not have on Monday morning.
Please, everybody, think if you need to say what you are saying, what can be harmless to some can be read as nasty to others.
All I'm asking is everybody to cool off a bit in this heat and see if we can't bring this back around to some constructive discussion.

 

Well said and not sure why people are dragging it on. It’s pointless and as someone that understands how damaging some comments can be wether that’s said with any malicious intent or not it can hurt the end users.

As adults here we should be mindful of this and not be so hard. Fair yes but ruthless or sly remarks does nothing but harm even if it’s seen a banter. A duty to read the room. Ie are people ganging up or just publicly passing a free comment.

So to the OP take heed of what’s being said in a constructive manner. Everyone that has nothing better to do will add comments or troll ya YT channel. It’s the world we live in and part of social media habits. You must understand this and responsible for actions or errors made in judgment.

Take it on chin, learn from this and just walk away. Hold your hand up even and say okay you get the message and close the thread down or delete it. Keeping it going will serve nothing now apart from being a red flag to some.
These will have their opinions just like the rest do, yet have no consideration for who there addressing their age or even state of mind.

Except in 2025 a Gen 9 console doesn't cost 500, I'm sure most price sensitive gamers are not above buying used where PS5s can be found for under 300 and Xbox Series S's can be found for 170, the Series X makes no sense and is more expensive than a PS5 for some reason... We are only roughly 2 years from Gen 10s announcement, Gen 9 is kinda already long in the tooth.

I assume you did read Matt Peddlesden's post? The one where he said that the length of routes isn't affected by the eight generation consoles?

Manchester Airport Commuter and the Frankfurt S-Bahn are absolutely not 'basic routes' - the latter in particular is among the most demanding routes ever created for the game. Even the PS5 and Xbox Series X versions of the route are compromised; it needs to be run on a PC to reach its full potential.

 

Maybe you should make a poll asking "am I a spammer?" with the options being "no", "no", and "absolutely not"

Just been reading through the comments in this thread. All I’m going to say is leave the lad alone. If you don’t agree with him, just say so. Trying to belittle or even bully him is not helping anyone. I’m not sure what is being gained by anyone carrying it on.

Even though it's completely unrealistic I did still enjoy it for the drama. Nightsleeper (on the BBC a few months ago) is along the same lines; even less realistic but still good fun.

 

So we have routes that, all of a sudden, this past year, need to be corner cut on gen 9 (route length. Timetable. Ai) or not available at all on gen 8, and yet dtg will continue to support the gen 8 model.

So it’s just a money thing although what gen 8 players will get other than fixes or minor updates is anyone’s guess, although with no new content coming to gen 8 because of the above there won’t be much of that.

Yes, stop Gen 8 support! Money hungry DTG only wants Gen 8 players so they can give away more free starter packs and make zero money from it. They just want to gain more money without any extra effort.
Why let them have the upcoming optimization and remaster updates?
Gen 8 only holds back the development and leaving Gen 8 behind would absolutely solve no problems at all.
