I *think* i've finally caught up!

In order of newest to oldest

 

Here's something different!

Translink Revolution

This is one of two liveries that could've been, one that was designed by a good friend of mine for the new trains at the time, the CAF class 3000 fleet.

The livery is based on the corporate livery across the bus fleet at the time of Translink (CityBus (metro) & Ulsterbus). It uses the mint green vehicle colour, the Translink green & the blue of NIR.

In this case, I've applied it to the class 170, which of current, is the closet of any Irish train in game.

Also helps that NIR was very close to getting the 170 over the CAFs at the time gives a even more realistic 'could've been'.

NI Railways Evolution

The other livery designed at the time of the new trains by my friend.

This one incorporates the same design as before, incorporating the corporate livery from the buses whilst also incorporating the rail livery at the time 'Green Stripe'.

Personally, this is my favourite of the two.... but there again, 'Green Stripe' is the best livery afterall.

Once again, big thanks to friend for the designs & inspirations.

Makes you wonder what the next NIR could be, especially with the new standard corporate livery based on 'Urby' across the buses....

As per both, the colours (blue, red, pink, etc) change as per operator (CityBus / Metro, Ulsterbus, Foyle).

 

I’m very late to say this, as I have literally just found this, The Maroon N’ Blue MK2 looks like if BR’s Departmental side bought some MK2’s

Iarnród Éireann EMD Class 121.... kind of....

Whilst I've not done anything since February (for a variation of reasons), the past week whilst I've not been overly feeling well, i wanted to do some thing easy, so decided to do a IÉ 121 livery.

It's still W.I.P, as the cab end has a complicated shape, which makes it more challenging for layers.

Iarnród Éireann DART+....

I had recently purchased the TFL class 710 on TSW, & i thought it was rather similar to the new DART+ units that TFI / Iarnród Éireann have purchased.

Both are Alstom units.

I've applied the new DART+ livery to the 710 & it actually works out rather well!

Must say, the 710 is a nice unit to operate too.

Just need a Dublin based route for them now....

Iarnród Éireann Class 90000 - DART+

I've updated the livery on the Class 90000 - Ie, the DART + 710.

Changes include a larger white space between doors & window surround, accessibility symbols on doors & removal of logos on intermediate trailers.



I've also created a late night test train scenario set in Glasgow.

Unfortunately, due to having mods installed, I'm unable to upload these to creators hub, despite the mods having absolutely no effect on either livery or scenario. :/

 

Tonights livery.... Arrow!

Here's two variations of the arrow livery applied to the class 350 - which i must say, wears it quite well.

This livery was alot of fun to do.

WIP livery.... Update.

This 350 & 390 is very much WIP.

The 390 is progressing well, although slowly. The green has been updated to match the green on ICR units & the yellow now ends more smoothly.

Work has started on the cork commuter livery for the 350, inspired by that on 2600 class units. I'm happy with the window surrounds & doors, but would very much like to redo the arrow on the end.

 

These three decided to block the doorway & just stand there....

The one in purple couldn't figure out how to push past them.

 

I thought I'd comment here. I like how detailed your content is. Especially with the IE livery on the 390. It really suits it. Even the logos. Very high quality. I'm interested in seeing what you do next

Enterprising Class 66s....

I decided to have a play on the livery designer in the all new TSW7 & created five new Enterprise liveries for the training centre class 66.

I've numbered them 30x based off the class 201 - my thought was 'What if NIR & IÉ really liked the class 201 & ordered new locomotives based off the proven class 66 in the mid 2000s, early 2010s. Maybe they would have been the class 301s to follow in the steps of the 201'. Similar to how GBRf brings in Euro 66s / 77s... That was my thinking.

To this, we've got...

• 8308 - Strangford Lough in Enterprise Swirl
• 8309 - Belfast Lough in Enterprise Swirl
• 8310 - Lough Foyle in fictional Enterprise Lines
• 307 - Carlingford Lough in Enterprise Badger
• 316 - Lough Hyne in Iarnród Éireann ex Belmond Grand Hibernian

SeaCows!

These SeaCows ballast hoppers are done up in the old NIR PW livery....
Unfortunately I couldn't hide the blue frame or the decals on the side, so we'll have to make do.

I've even added dust marks along the top

Enterprise MKI & MKII.... Modern Edition??

I don't have any rolling stock installed on TSW7 currently that would be suited or ideal for Enterprise, so decided to use the rake of MKIIs (with first class!) & a MKI brake van as a stand in for the genny van. This is just a temp fix until more suited rolling stock is available
(maybe a MKIV if they ever come out? - Oh! An Enterprise railjet, now that'd be cool....).

....I do have HST MKIIIs, but.... eh
That would require uninstalling one of the routes i have to make way for the GWR route & frankly, I'm enjoying 710 & Glasgow - Edinburgh too much at the moment.

Emerald Green

Continuing on the Enterprise theme, we've got 8308 in the Emerald Green Enterprise livery.

In reality, only ever one locomotive carried this livery - class 201, No. 8208 (NIR).

The livery was a design by DCA Designs & was applied to all four DeDietrich sets (9001 - 9004) & to 8208.

This was part of the 2008 Enterprise overhaul.

I'll not be doing any carriages in this livery until there is suitable rolling stock with a DVT or driving trailer.

Although, am thinking of the the rolling stock in the BR 101 expert pack, but I'll doubt that would work with the 66?

Think I'm going to do one, maybe two more liveries for the 66 & move on to the class 333 - as that's the closet CAF we have in game to anything Irish.

Plus, at the time, there was a chance of the the C3k getting the same style of cab of the 333/332 (the inside is pretty much identical).

The last two 301s (66s).... for now

I've done the last two of the liveries for the Irish class 66s, at least for now.

Moving on, from these, I might do some railcar liveries for the class 333.

Then, I might attempt doing some InterCity stuff in the IC DB stock in the BR 101 expert pack to go with the 66 - although, unsure if they're compatible?
Be nice to look at anyways whilst awaiting more suitable stock.

Back to the 301s!

Firstly, we've got 330, "Lough Neigh" which is based off the class 201, No. 230 & is in the original mid 1990s Enterprise livery scheme which was introduced when the Enterprise service was revamped in the mid 1990s, with the introduction of new rolling stock from both GM EMD with the class 201s & later, the introduction of DeDietrich (now Alstom) carriage & driving trailer rolling stock.

Then we have 315, "Lough Aleck More", based off of Cl. 201, No. 215.

315 is in the Iarnród Éireann MKIV InterCity livery which was introduced in 2004 with the introduction of the new CAF MKIV rolling stock on the Dublin - Cork line.
