Does anyone agree with me? In most American routes like LIRR and the new Peninsula Corridor, the crossings gates stay down 24/7 and even if trains do come, you wait an average of 15-20 minutes until a train does come. That is NOT how real railroads operate. In CSX: HH, the crossing gates are animated and do come down whenever a train approaches, and go back up when the tracks in both directions are clear. Why can’t DTG do that on consoles, and in the LIRR and Peninsula Corridor? In the past streams of the Peninsula Corridor, DTG stated that they don’t have the “tech” necessary for this, but how were they able to do such a thing in CSX:HH, eh? With TSW 2020 out, and the new Mastery update on, I think it’s time for DTG to start their engines and make TSW better by adding animated crossing gates!
I totally agree. Even good old Microsoft Trainsimulator (released eighteen and a half year ago) had this feature. Besides that the road traffic also needs some attention.
Agree and on the German and UK routes they should had the warning sound to them. so that the cars known when the trains are coming and also on the West Somerset railroad, Northern Transpenine, and Tess Valley line they should have an animated railroad worker open and close the gate railroad crossings.
WOW your problem is with crossing gates don't going up & down how about No traffic ever crosses the crossing gates EVER !!! in any mode on any route how about those apples
I would defiantly like to see animated rail crossings, id also like to see more randomized problems, like a truck stuck across the railwayline, That would give us the option of ramming into it
Technically traffic doesn't go through the gates because the crossing gates are down. How is traffic supposed to go through in this situation? If the gates did go down and up, then traffic would have space and be allowed to go through (I don't think that DTG should promote illegal activity by having cars go around the gates).
come on people stop defending and be human why is a game that's 11 years old its alright Train Simulator but ahh a newer game as train simulator world you defend,i know why because your all brain washed idiots because its 2020 know game company can do that. yeah you like my sarcasm WOW
Its not that the gates are down, its that its just never an option for them to cross the roads. Have you ever noticed that when the gates are down there's never a car waiting at it? One of my favorite parts about any train sims are the crossings and seeing cars cross the tracks in the distance so I agree with your stance.
It upsets me to see the gates down all the time they never go up. I will sit at station for 2minutes and the railroad crossing that’s 300ft away is down the whole time.
