    Dear Dovetail Games team,

I’m a long-time Train Sim World (since TSW2020) fan from Israel, and with the upcoming TSW6, I’d love to suggest a route that could both expand the series geographically and offer exciting new gameplay opportunities. Israel has never been represented in TSW, and I believe a route covering the busiest Coastal Rail Network — including Nahariya to Herzliya — would be the perfect way to change that.

    ---

Route Proposal: Nahariya to Herzliya (Coastal Railway)

A full Israeli commuter and intercity network with diverse gameplay potential:

    Core Mainline:

Nahariya to Herzliya, serving key city stations like Acre, Kiryat Motzkin, Kiryat Haim, Huztot HaMifratz, HaMifratz Central - Coastal Line, Haifa Center - HaShmona, Haifa - Bat Galim, Haifa Hof HaCarmel, Atlit, Binyamina, Caesarea - Pardes Hannah, Hadera - West, Netanya stations and Beit Yehoshua

Covers the full electrified route from Nahariya to Herzliya

    ---

    Major Stations

Acre, Kiryat Motzkin, Kiryat Haim, Huztot HaMifratz, HaMifratz Central - Coastal Line, Haifa Center - HaShmona, Haifa - Bat Galim, Haifa Hof HaCarmel, Atlit, Binyamina, Caesarea - Pardes Hannah, Hadera - West, and more.

    ---

    Rolling Stock to Include

    In the Base Route:

Israel Railways' various Diesel Locomotives like JT42BW (Alstom & Vossloh) and 2 Vossloh Euro Locomotives like Euro 4000 & Euro 3200 with Bombardier Double Deck Coach Trains

Israel Railways' various Diesel Locomotives like JT42CW (GEC-Alsthom), EMD G12, NRE NGT26CW-2 & EMD G26 with various Freight Wagons

Withdrawn Alstom Mo-Do Push Pull Trains (1996)

Siemens Viaggio Light Push Pull Trains

New Siemens Desiro HC DDEMU Units (entering service since 2022)

    ---

    New & Existing Gameplay Modes

This route is ideal for showing off both core and newly introduced modes:

Driver Mode – commuter, intercity, and freight services

Conductor Mode – Especially immersive on services with frequent stops

    ---

✨ Extra Features to Support This Route

Every AI layer should appear, even if the player doesn’t own the DLC — AI-only until purchased

Livery Editor support for custom formations, not just repaints

Modern graphics presets (Performance, HD, and 4K/Cinematic modes)

Dense rush hour timetables, PIS integration, platform announcements, and accurate signage

    ---

    Why This Route?

Israel has never been featured in Train Sim World — this would be a first

The Israeli rail network blends electrics, diesels, freight, intercity, and depot ops in one map

Would be hugely popular among Israeli and global rail fans

    ---

Thank you for everything you’ve done with Train Sim World. The Israeli Coastal rail network would be a fresh, diverse, and feature-rich addition to the game, and I truly hope you’ll consider bringing it to life in TSW6. I also understand that you do have licensing agreements but I hope that some of what I've said gets across to you and your team. Thank you.

    Kind regards,
    Itay Levy
(Train Sim World Player – Kfar Yona, Israel)

How many threads have you already posted about Israeli railways?

I think you don't want to understand, because otherwise you wouldn't post another thread like this.

DTG will certainly not build an Israeli railway in TSW at the moment, or even ever.
Just forget about it, because it's guaranteed not to happen, even if you post 100 threads about it.

Why, Emmy_MAN , should it not be possible? It's an interesting country with various beautiful cities and landscapes. I think in a simulator politics should have no place, the game is available to everyone interested after all. If you have a wish, stick to it and ask until someone responsible answers as to why or it draws attention that there might be more users who'd get it. It's a good idea after all, same like a potential suggestion for railway lines in Egypt or Morocco or Russia or whatever. It's a passion, a love for railroads after all that brings us here together. ❤️

    Kind regards

Apart from practical arguments, like travelling there to survey, record sounds etc., maybe it's just too controversial at the moment .

That's a valid point, foggy#2817 , but apart from that I'd see no real reasons to not keep it in mind for TSW7+x. But, that controversial points have no place in a simulator, tbh. If it was for that, there'd be many blank spots in Flight Simulator for example and, yet, they're covered as well. I get it though, that others may have different points of views, which I respect and appreciate, but dont need to necessarily agree to on. I dont like it, I dont buy it.

    Kind regards.

Last time we heard from the OP, weren’t they starting to build it themselves? Seems that went well, then.

The simple fact is, that really someone from DTG needs to spell out to the OP, is there is no way they or any associate will touch this part of the world with a barge pole. Not just Israel, but any countries in the region. Even without the current politics and conflict, it’s highly likely railways in Israel are regarded as a military installation and subject to strict security restrictions. No one is getting near for research purposes let alone a licence to show the network in a train game.

It's way too controversial in current affairs to create this unfortunately.

Welp, we might as well add the Myanmar Railway system then while we're at it.

Simple truth is that putting aside politics, is that it would be immensely dangerous for any team to travel to Israel. Maybe in 10 or 15 years when hopefully the conflict will have been resolved, might they be able to send down people to explore and survey the needed areas for a route.

Realistically, I just don't think that any company at the size of DTG and even It's publisher would want to be involved and deal with the internet troubles that follow afterwards, quite a sore topic as of right now if you've noticed.

But hey, there is nothing stopping you or an Israel based team to make their own route and introduce it to DTG as a 3rd party.
    As they say...

Be the change you want to see.

Honestly, it's about supply and demand. Take FIFA, the football game, as an example. Only the most important/high demand nations/league will be added, with exceptions such as Brazil due to licensing. I only have hope for anything based in North America, Western Europe, and Japan to be added because they will always sell well due to global demand and not limited to people of their own country.

I mean it’s a shame as some of the Israel lines look quite scenic such as the line from Lod to Jerusalem or the now closed line that wound round to Nablus. But I think the latter is now in the West Bank or disputed territory.

As said this is never happening unless a third party builds it probably without any on site research or licencing at which point DTG would still say, no thank you ain’t touching that with a barge pole.

well TSW needs routes from new countries it dosent even make sense for almost all routes to be in Europeran countries, i know they are doing one in Japan (Tadami Line) but thats not enough!!!!

Train Simulator Classic has routes in China, South Africa, New Zealand and Turkey while TSW only has British, French, Swiss, Austrian, Canadian and American routes idk if its that or am I just overreacting?

nevermind TSW needs routes from new countries like in my opinion China, Australia, Brazil, India and others and if possible: routes in Israel and Russia.

Do you really believe that DTG or other third parties will send people to Israel, Russia or Ukraine?

I think the users here should take a look at the daily news and not just sit in front of their consoles or PCs.

You should take a look at what is happening in our world, where people are dying every day, and DTG is supposed to send people there to try to model the local railway system??!!

This is what we have been trying to tell the OP every time he posts these suggestions but falls on deaf ears. And sadly the moderators and admin seem to ignore the situation…

I'd boycott an Israeli route. In much the same way I wouldn't buy products for Nazi Germany were I alive in the 1930s.

Call me weird but I'm just not comfortable with genocides. However, I might be persuaded if DTG gave all profits to the Red Cross and Médecins Sans Frontières to help with the humanitarian crisis that Israel are causing.

OldVern, yes, I know that, because I've tried the same thing with all of his posts.

But according to his theory, he can make a wish and then believe that DTG will build it.

Guys, take a look at the threads that the OP has already created, then you'll understand better what we're trying to explain to him.

But either he's totally messing with us here, or he just doesn't want to get it into his head. Read all the threads he's started!
