I Have an issue. I just purchased train sim world 5 special edition for playstation 5 upgrading for deluxe upon purchase when it goes to download it doesn't at all and throws a Sonething Went Wrong Message so I even went to the playstation store to download the missing two routes Bremen and london overground Barking riverside and those errors Still pop up. It won't download at all. Is any one else having this issue please help if you can. Matthew Peddlesden if you can weigh in on this please aswell. I saw multiple posts about this on Reddit. Someone mentioned the PS4 version of the DLC's are dowloaded instead of the PS5 version. This looks like an error on Sony's end, but maybe DTG can work this out together with Sony.
Good morning transitmiguel142 Thank you for reporting this issue. I have conducted some research and found that this issue has been present in other games before. We also checked internally for any changes on our side, but there were none. It appears your console is downloading the PS4 version instead of the PS5 version. We are investigating this further and getting in touch with Sony directly, but in the meantime here are some proposed solutions: Try downloading the content using the PlayStation App OR Try restoring the licence: Restart the console. Check the library to confirm the DLC been purchased. From the Dashboard head to Settings > Users & Accounts> Other > Restore Licence. Lastly, please try downloading the DLC from the PlayStation Store: Sign in to your account on PlayStation.com Select My PlayStation > Game Library, or open PlayStation App and select Game Library > Purchased. Select the game you want to download from your purchased list and select Download. Select which linked PS5 console or PS4 console you would like to download to. Your game will begin downloading automatically. Hi Jan, I am having the exact same issue with trying to download the Sand Patch Grade DLC on to my PS5. I have taken the above steps but the DLC stubbornly refuses to install on to my PS5, it installs only on to my PS5 and I am met with the following error code when I try to install it on to PS5. I have contacted both DTG support and Sony support on this issue.
I believe that it was a Sony related issue I was able to download my add-ons after waiting a while. I can say at least for me it has been resolved however let's jeep this open for other players to report if it's happening to them thank you
I believe so too as Sand Patch Grade suddenly appeared out of nowhere in my DLC library on the TSW menu! I was never informed that the add-on had been installed!
