Ah...yes - this one by the brilliant Romansu72. It's one of those mods which works so well you forget it's there (I did!), but it's essential for the 87. Hopefully at some point it will be extended to include the 86 (or JustTrains will fix the 86 so that it's not required).

Until then I'll hold off on buying the 86.

The 87 does it as well for some reason. I'm not sure how they managed to get it to break in that way, since CTRL 0 works for every other train in TSW (to my knowledge).

Re the Mark 2 interiors then... Confirming in dull rainy conditions the interior colours look a bit more creamy, though still with more of a grey tint than the magnolia there were in reality. So whatever is wring with the materials, textures and or lighting in full daylight still needs sorting please.

Yes, updating the driver wipes the shader cache.

I had these issues last night with the class 86 and MK2 Rake.

Photo mode the rolling stock looked poor in quality. (Look at the rear coaches).
    IMG_5510.jpeg
    low resolution it seemed.

Missing coaches layers as seen in photos. IMG_5512.jpeg IMG_5515.jpeg
Zoom in they go but wide shoots then that’s the results.

    Inside cab.
    IMG_5518.jpeg IMG_5519.jpeg
Same again. Zoom in and it blurs. Come out and it returns to normal.
I have photos of the control desk too. Yet 40 minutes after taking these shots as I arrived in Carlisle it fixed it self.
I Noticed the error after a harsh stop under very heavy braking. Driving tired. No SPAD tho:)

So yes these are issues I found last night with the new Add on pack.

Is this the add on pack tho or the game. As I’ve noticed a drop in overall graphics since the last update.
    I’m using a PS5 for reference.

    Thanks.

I noticed the poor and blurred textures with passing rakes of the new coaches but had put it down to running at 1440p. Sounds like there could be a more fundamental issue, though I haven’t (yet) had a rake pass me with an entire vehicle missing.

Have to say, this whole pack really needs to go back in the factory for some fixes and quality improvements.

Definitely blur in there. I assumed it was more to do with the core game.

It's a thing in TS as well. Different rolling stock looks blurrier than others at certain distances. I don't own the pack yet myself, but from the screenshots something definitely seems off.

The only thing that's bothering me is the sudden frame rate drops, mostly around the Lancaster area.

Indeed. Looking at a few comments by others I’d say so. I noticed last night that my MK3s have been replaced now with MK2’s!.
Not looked into that any further yet. Could be just a title issue.

Small issue yes, but issues never the less that are interfering with game play.
Be from frame rate (Core issue not DLC pack?)
Some uncertain about interior of the coaches. No texture or feel. Feels very cold even steel looking.
    Not crème or blue.

A few things that for 19.99 shouldn’t be there or in the case of rolling stock, should be there.

Is mentioning quality and price wrong, for we as customers have to be honest with feedback.
This would be my 3 or forth new add on pack content and each one has an issue.

There for speaking as a customer and fan of TSW would like to see that any feedback is welcomed to improve their product and us as customers a better experience after buying a DTG product.
This is essential to DTG by being more transparent with customers and fans. Building a better relationship to create a better game for all.

My fingers are crossed that those responsible for any errors will respond to many concerns raised on this Class 86 Feedback thread.

So first full run done, enjoy the loco drive and having the air con mk2s and mk1 buffet.

    Positives:

    Looks great

    Drives great

    Brings variety and some challenges.

    Negatives:

Massive frame rate drops in certain areas when 86s and stock are present. Although not so bad if I kill the lighting mod. The DTG class 40 doesn't help when that's in the area.

Traction motors failed. Not really a negative but wasnt aware random failures occur?

Tricky one. As yes I’d agree, I’ve noticed a difference in resolution since the last update yet must remain on thread topic.
So with the MK2s being part of the new add on pack this is my first experience of such issues of a missing coach body.

For anything of a core issue I’d say it’s a separate issue. I’ll simply say I was happy with performance on the WCML.
But the last few days it’s been a bit of a mess in terms of resolution/ frame rates.

Here is the evidence of the fix I mentioned to readers yesterday.
    Notice the time.
    IMG_5517.jpeg IMG_5537.jpeg
Corrected itself at some point entering Carlisle.

Just quickly. The traction motors overheat. They’re not as powerful as the class 87. So you have to remain from overloading the motors.
Or they will cut out or trip. To restart the AC power supply you have to pull the tap changer (Edit) to off. Make sure the AMP’s or voltage reader is nil before then doing a reset on the up pantograph. You will hear the power supply kick back in and away you go.

Just take your time and don’t over load the traction motors or they will overheat and trip.

Did reset but motors one and two would not take power. Isolated both and drove on two motors Lancaster to Preston.

Just so people know we are aware of both the issues with height of the locomotive and raildriver compatibility.
