What is this a utter disgrace like literally every platform except us has gotten a good sale, Microsoft really knows how to screw us over
Don't worry guys. DLC sale coming in August. Rumour has it that the following will be on offer: Ruhr Sieg Nord - 40% off Holiday express - 30% off LIRR M3 - 50% off Isle of Wight - 20% off It's going to be the best xbox sale ever
Y'know if Microsoft is truly the problem why not just have a program for Xbox players where you get a free gift card or something for sharing your receipt? Since you seem to refuse to push ms for better deals. As someone who have supported TSW for over 5 years now on Xbox im disappointed how we continually get shelfed when it comes to sales. If random Ubisoft slop can have all its dlc on sale I don't see why tsw is always the issue. This doesn't reward anyone but people interested in trying the game and not the people who stick around. Your straw already running thin with the Caltrain issue and seemingly not understanding releasing a new game every year doesn't fix your problems.
nah, id pass i've already got deulexe edition and the fact that theres no routes on the sale just shows how messed up this so-called xbox ultimate game sales is compared to other gaming platforms which has very decent routes on sale, xbox gets nothing!!!! this stupid sale sucks.
Yeah, compared to what PS and Steam have on sale atm in comparison to Xbox, it’s shocking. Don’t blame the company though, it’s out of their control. Microsoft control what content gets put on sale.
Although no individual route DLCs are discounted, it should be noted that the special edition being on sale for such a low amount could act like a DLC sale. For instance, BRO is in the special edition, so even if you bought the special edition just for BRO only, it would still be cheaper than buying BRO separately right now. Some other routes that are in the special edition are BKL, KWG, CJP, BKG, and NYT, plus of course all of the TSW5 release stuff. This makes what is admittedly an underwhelming sale for xbox perhaps a little more useful for some.
Unless you already have all of that since most of it is stuff that’s in the Xbox sales a few times I think also these bundles have went of sale multiple times to the point where most people have them
PS, Steam and Epic all have the same edition discounts, AND add ons for sale too. You could argue this point if only xbox had 80% off the editions, but we don't. And as has already been mentioned, this isn't the first time we've had this discount either.
I've only ever claimed the TSW5 free starter pack so this bundle in the sale is a great way for me to get the WCML and the Pendolino for £11.99. Also used my £5 Microsoft rewards voucher. £6.99 total. BARGAIN!
I'm basically a bit tempted for the ultimate edition, but... ... after reading the current feedback threads am I right that WCML South is still crashing every time approaching Euston? ... Frankfurt - Fulda still blurry / crashing on every run? ... San Bernardino being the most stable out of the three but still boring? ... so the main purchase reason would be to get the ICE T and DB Vectron (from a german perspective)?
On Series S, I play WCML South frequently, with the 390 and the HKA and HOA packs. It does not crash often, unless it is raining. It certainly is not close to crashing "every time." FTF is probably still blurry on every run, but also not crashing all the time, although on Series S it still crashes on approach to Frankfurt more than I would like (again especially in the rain). Many routes currently have a blurriness problem, however. SBD is the most stable. Most boring is subjective, but I would say since it is single track it is certainly the least "active" of the three. From a German perspective, the ICE-T is definitely fun to drive. Even though Series S has much less layers I still enjoy FTF because of the ICE-T. I prefer to drive the DB Vectron on most routes right now because of the suspension. Also the Flixtrain Vectron, although it only has a few services, is fun to drive on both FTF and SKA. At the current sale price, I think the Deluxe version is definitely worth it.
In case you haven't figured out the pattern on Xbox, its always DLC on sale then the next sale base game packs, the next will be DLC. It been the same pattern since TSW2. So the next sale will probably be between mid September and the end of October and will have DLC. Then end of November to mid December will be the base games and Boxing day will be DLC.
I’m definitely going to be dead by the time Scotrail express and train sim Germany’s first route goes on sale again
Nice! Thank you for taking your time for a more positive reply. Since I'm on SX and the bluriness problem is probably not far from being solved with TSW6 I'm giving it a go. I don't like rain anyway.
