Train swap in timetable mode. Like 390 to HST, M7 to M3, etc. I know you can put your train in the timetable, but that's not it. I want to ride the existing service on a replacement train.
And search by the creators' pseudo too to see all the creations linked to the user. Often in formation/scenarios, people put the pseudo's user of the livery used and it is almost impossible to find the livery (already I find the search in the CC is not crazy). And speaking of formation, I would like DTG to make formation playable in the timetables like the liveries without using freeroam (I don't use freeroam personally because I don't find it interesting)
I agree in fact there is one hump yard under a Motorway that is on the Northeast Corridor Trenton to Boston route Oak Island New York. Perhaps owners of NEC Trenton-Boston and Westbahn Wien Kledering Linz Hbf get to use the Hump yard mechanics. Although Kledering uses a 1064
Having it so downloading a scenario from creators club also downloads the connected liveries at the same time
My wish is driving any train on any route while in time table mode. With out restrictions. So that mean I want to take my 483 and drive it on any route. And yeah I’m not talking about scenario planner. I’m talking about just like any other route using time table with any train of your collection.
I hope they make the locomotive headlights more realistic and re-design the route editor so it's easy to use. I only plan on getting the free update unless there is more substantial US freight power and routes available.
My two cents worth and it seems folks dont talk about enough when it comes to things we'd like to see. - Draw distance - Shadow draw distance In the base game they are awful. Im a PC user and have modded the shadow distance to x50 and the Draw distance/foliage to x10 be editing the game engine Ini file. Yes, changes to max distance will gobble up FPS, especially on Gen 8 consoles, but we could at least have this in the menu settings for everyone. Im still baffled why so many youtubers stream their vids with default draw distance with foliage popping up about 2 yards in front of the train. It make even professional vids look jarring and hard to watch. To allow it to be adjustable for us all could be an easy fix and likely well appreciated by content providers too.
A proper map of the region you are driving through showing its location relative to other towns and cities in the country the route is set in.
Yes you can spawn your train. But it has to be a specific type of train for the route you use. What I am saying for example. Taking the 484 on placing it on west coast main line with time table mode operational. But the 484 won’t move in TSW5. I don’t want to use scenario planner coz first you can’t drive the full route on some. Second I don’t want to waste time setting up ai trains. While just use the time table function which will be simple
484 isn't gonna run on wcml unless you put it on the overground lines because it's a third rail train. Put it in scenario planner on off the rails however, it'll run just fine
I know you have to set up the path of course. But it still won’t move cos dtg programmed it to do just that in tsw5.
I know about off the rail mode. I have explained that already. How ever it won’t even move on over ground as well.
More my wishlist for TSW7 than TSW6, as I don't think much will change for TSW6 now: - Train Sim World API - I want to share my recent completed Timetables, Scenarios or Progress in Train Sim World on my Website. - More Things to Unlock - I dont want to Drive every Train on every Route at any Time. I wish you were rewarded more for your progress. Not with these pointless badges or stickers for the (unused) livery editor. The unlockable Journey chapters are definitely a step in the right direction. - More, more, more Achievements - I don't think I need to say much about that. But 3 Achievements for one route are clearly not enough for me. - Passenger/Freight Counter - It would be cool if there was more data about the completed train service on the final screen. For example, how many passengers or how much freight (total weight) you have transported. Perhaps also weekly or monthly statistics in the player profile. - InGame Driver´s LogBook - I would like to have an InGame Driver´s logbook that shows me my last train services (maybe with filters or search engine). - Where you started - How much time it took you to complete - How many points you scored (no medals) - How many km/miles you traveled - Which rolling stock you used - and more. - Adjust Drivers Point of View - I wish there were a setting option in the pause menu where you could adjust your Field of View with a few sliders. The simplest. Up/down, left/right and forward/back. Without having to quit the game and go to the main menu. - Sliders for Engine.ini Options in Game Settings - It would be nice if the options that you now have to laboriously change via Engine.ini could simply be changed via a few sliders in the game settings.
In game NPC's featuring your favourite DTG employee. Look it's Alex and JD. Who's that driving the 66. But the will have the same behaviour.
A very minor thing, but I'd like TSW6 to revert the change TSW5 brought to the timer on the HUD. In TSW4, the normal HUD had a clock timer and the minimal HUD had the barber's pole, but in TSW5 the barber's pole was forced on both HUDs. I really don't like the barber's pole, so I'd prefer being able to choose between the two, regardless of which HUD I'm using.
Hopefully we won't have to stand around anymore if we arrived at the end of the line 9 minutes early and now the game won't count the passengers disembarking until the scheduled time.
