Have any Series S players still been experiencing crashing on Preston - Carlisle? I think coming into Carlisle from the South was the worst — is it still an issue? I desperately want to enjoy the Class 87/86. Thanks.
I think this is just a general limitation of the Series S and its weaker specs, as the route stutters or lags even on a Series X/PS5. It did get better with the core optimisation, but seems to have returned to what it was beforehand with the addition of the 86. I know that even on PS5 myself when approaching Preston after a full length run I've sometimes had the game drop right down to something like 2fps for about 20 to 30 seconds.
