    good morning/day/evening,
i introduce to you all, spoorlijn 36N: Brussel - Leuven

the spoorlijn 36N (railwayline 36N) connects Brussels north to Leuven and further via HSL 3 to Liege guillmens and aachen. its 28.8km log and allows speeds up to 200km/h.

Now the fun part, wich trains will be driving on that route?
there are a few types of trains that drive this route.
Firtsly and most obviously ic trains. Then there are also S and L trains, these two hae a few differences but are mostly the same, namely a regional train.

    ic trains
most of the ic trains that drive this route concist of a push-pull type train (a loco on one end and a controllcar on the other). The loco in question is usualy the hle 18 or 19, the difference being that the hle19 has an automatic coupler on one end, it usualy is paired with m6 dubbeldekker coaches.

the HLE 18 is based of of the siemens taurus platform and is capable of reaching up to 200km/h
(for more details click the name, its a link to the wiki)

there is one service however that doesnt have a cabcar, but it has a loco on each end. This is the service from welkenreadt to oostende and has at one end 2 i11 coaches and one i10 coach for bikes to be placed

    upload_2025-7-24_16-10-40.jpeg i10 coach

    regional trains
for regional services the trains used are usualy the nmbs mr08 desiro but also the nmbs mr80 (cant post an image because i used too many already

    special trains
there are also a few special trains that drive this line, namely the ICE to Frankfurt and Brussel south and the eurostar (used to be thalys) to paris and Köln and sometimes Dortmund.

    technical
the line is equiped with etcs level 1 and 2. The line is equiped with 3kv overheadwires

    summary
i believe that this route would be a great adition to tsw6 because of the amount of trains that wil be added if this were to make it into the game.

    any criticism is welcome

    Excellent suggestion!

Belgium is a country I'm proud of, especially the railway infrastructure, which I've always admired
Not to forget the new railway systems which again differ from the rest of the world ETCS not included (S-Bahn Zentralschweiz: Luzern - Sursee).
Although an inclusion of station Liège-Guillemins would be useful, especially for drivable ICE services, as they don't really stop in Leuven station itself. And there would also be continuous services for the HLE18, something that always happens in real life HSL 2.

Adding liege guillmens would indeed be a great suggestion. it could then be used as a routehopping point for eg the re18 to aachen via maastricht and heerlen and maybe even hsl3 to aachen and the classic line running alongside it.

having the 36/36N & L0 to FMBZ (Bruxelles-Midi) would make it even better and a bit longer. Opportunity to get Forest-Voitures to store away the TGV with can we see as AI or playable between Bruxelles-Midi & Nord!
