TS Controllers is pleased to announce official support for Train Sim World 5 (and upcoming 6), for its full range of controllers, old and new, plus its brand new controller being announced next week. Its finally here! You can now enjoy official support using the TSW5 programming interface for a reliable and fully featured experience on PC's. Unlike other controllers, TS Controllers produces is own software in house with zero configuration or setup needed by the user. It just works with everything out of the box. The software is fully supported by TS controllers, with industry leading personalised support, without having to rely on thrid party software. TS Controllers has worked tirelessly over the last few months to bring this new feature, and are the only controllers on the market using the new interface to provide the full plug and play user experience. Established in 2020, TS Controllers produce a range of realistic, true to life controllers, which feel like the real controls, rather than generic levers and buttons. All controllers are handmade in the UK to ensure ultimate quality and user experience. Whats new in V3 of the TS Controllers Interface? https://tscontrollers.com/v3-whats-new/ The software will notify you of an automatic update. If you are visiting the Greatest Gathering on the 1st-3rd Aug , come and try the full range of controllers at 'The Cab Yard/LMMR' stand, between shop E and F, by the National Railway Museum stand. *DSD Pedal support will come in a later version.*
Really nice stuff! I've always wanted a PZB controller for on my desk though. Do you guys just do British stuff or Germany also? Or does anyone know if there's a PZB controller out there?
Not sure about all of their stuff, but their Emergency Stop & AWS button do, their products seem to be pre-mapped to their in game keybinds. If they aren’t it’s easy enough to hook them up to a PC & grab some software to rebind them yourself. The consoles will just see them as generic keyboards.
I once mimicked the sound of using a rail driver controller, that’s as far as I got though to using the real thing, as controllers like these don’t exist on console.
This has been a game changer for me. Before the update I was mostly on TSC and hardly at all on TSW. Since the update I have been solely on TSW and have been discovering it much more than ever before. Confession: I am a Train Sim and Flight Sim hardware nut. I wouldn't use these simulations without controllers, but that's just me. I have had a Raildriver since Christmas 2003 and have bought a number of the TS Controllers. They worked 100% in TSC but were patchy in TSW until this update. So far I've driven the 158, 47 86, 87 and 323 using variously the TS Controllers PBC, Flexi Lever Flexi Brake and Door Panel. All have worked flawlessly and have been rock solid in being in sync with TSW. I really applaud TS Controllers for bringing this out at zero cost to support their previous customers. Its made a massive difference for me.
Robski said You could try here https://www.fahrpult.com/Fahrpulte-Plug-and-Play/ I don't have any of their stuff but it looke interesting.
Thanks! I'll definitely have a look! Right now I use a Elgato stream deck mini, works pretty well but not as realistic.
It’s tricky. These products certainly look more realistic for UK operation than the TSC-X controller, but they’re much more expensive. TSC-X is approx £200 for the whole desk. With TS Controllers it’s £390 just for power and brake, before you even start on the various add-ons. That’s not to criticise the pricing of the TS Controllers products. They’re entitled to charge what they think they can get, for what look like excellent products, and I’ve no doubt they’re expensive to build for a small market. But it makes the decision-making difficult! It’s a good thing to see a number of different competitors for RailDriver (which I have at the moment), though. Clearly there’s considered to be a market there, and some really good looking products are coming out (I’m aware the TS Controllers aren’t new, but the official support for TSW is). I wonder (wild speculation) whether the new product mentioned might be a controller suitable for a tap-changer, which they don’t really appear to offer at the moment.
