Hello Everyone, today I am going to be suggesting the West Wales Lines, a series of branch lines which cover the very outskirts of Wales, along with countryside scenery and coastal towns.

    Why this route?

The reason I have picked this route is due to the service variety and to make use of the Transport for Wales licence, its also a diesel only route, which is a difference from the all electric lines we've seen in TSW.

    STATIONS:

    FISHGUARD BRANCH (41 Miles)

Carmarthen, Whitland, Clunderwen, Clarbeston Road, Fishguard and Goodwick and Fishguard Harbour

    MILFORD BRANCH: (13 miles)

    Haverfordwest, Johnston and Milford Haven

    PEMBROKE BRANCH: (27 miles)

Narberth, Kilgetty, Saundersfoot, Tenby, Pengally, Manobier, Lamphey, Pembroke and Pembroke Dock

    TOTAL STATIONS: 18

    TOTAL LENGTH: 81 MILES

    What is the Rolling Stock?

Transport for Wales Class 197 DMU (NEW)

The new locomotive for this route would be the Class 197 DMU, running a majority of the services along the route, these DMUs can run services all the way up to Manchester from these areas.

Transport for Wales Class 153 DMU (REUSED)

making a return on the route is the Class 153 DMU, doing the Carmarthen to Tenby services.

    Are there any Gameplay Opportunities?

yes, the HST farewell pack from GWE can add HST railtour services along the route, which are London Paddington to Pembroke Dock services.

    Conclusion

I think this route would be great in TSW, making use of the Transport for Wales licence, the HST Railtour pack, and other locomotives from Cardiff.

    PRICE

as this is a large network route of 81 miles, the price for this route will be standard at £29.99

Definitely a good suggestion and lots of variety, this is just my opinion but i would prefer Swansea to Pembroke Dock, provides a nice amount of variety, only 72 miles but is more reasonable and sets up for a South Wales Mainline route ( -> https://forums.dovetailgames.com/threads/south-wales-mainline.89689/ ), anyhow I'd assume later this year we should get the GWR 80x so that would be used instead. Would be nice to see the 197 however the 150 has also been used on this line so would be nice to see a mix.

Very good suggestion though and i wouldn't mind either way just the very limited amount of trains to Fishguard and the temptation of a near 2 hour route from Pembroke to Swansea.
