If you may not of noticed Armstrong Powerhouse has enhancement packs for vanilla diesels in TS classic. Bellow is a typical 31 enhancement with dynamic exhaust effects which means the locomotive's exhaust effects are extremely close to it's real life counterpart. I haven't seen anything like this in TSW series yet but the release numbers have gone up the scale promising major features. I'm just suggesting maybe it's time to raise the bar in 6th installment had guarantee these effects on all diesels?

WCML: Preston - Carsile does feature dynamic exhaust effects on their 101, 47 and the gronk. So there is hope overall that all diesels will be upgraded.

Diesel exhaust effects have always been a pet peeve of mine on TSW for several years now, well actually since MSTS 25 years ago!. They seem way too much but also they are animated in a very structured way that doesn't look very real. On Blackpool branches it looks really good.
It needs to be much more fluid and cloud-like.

Even at idle some diesel engines look like they are at half or full load by what's coming out the stack. (Class 37 for example)

On start-up there will be a decent blast of exhaust then at idle there should be almost none (again think Blackpool class 47s), visible on throttle-up between notches then clear again. This would greatly enhance realism and not trigger my OCD too much lol.

If you've watched a DB BR218 at idle it still looks like there's an engine compartment fire happening!

Just my 2c worth. If you got this far, thanks for reading.

They are all dynamic in TSW since ever. But there are limits unfortunately. I tried to change the emitters on the 218 to somewhat better but with basically no luck at all. Just made it bit more black when full throttle. What i would have needed is to increase the particle amount a lot to gain a better result. But increasing the particles ends up in a slide show very fast.
