Hello, Has anyone had issues with AI randomly stopping on routes and causing huge backlogs and traffic jams? If so, how did you remedy it? I also have the South Eastern 465 appearing on several WCMLS timetables for some reason. Has anyone else experienced this? Thanks
You can use the 2D map to delete trains that appear to have become stuck. You may get turfed out of the driver’s chair and dire warning about failing the run when you sit back down, but that is a red herring.
It's been mentioned on your other thread on the same subject. You are using mods and one of them is causing the problem either because it's broken or out of date. It'll be one of them that is causing the problem. The solution is to remove all your mods and add them back until you identify which one is. The 465 does not appear on WCMLS.
All my mods are up to date, I suppose that’s the inherent risk of using them. I don’t really want to have to delete and reinstall them all but honestly have no idea where to begin looking for something that would cause this erratic behaviour. It only seems to affect this one timetable and I have removed and reinstalled twice already to no avail.
I don't believe Mods are the issue as i play on console, therefore can not have mods, and this happens to me regularly. Often in Frankfurt-Fulda.
I did a full reinstall of everything and have added most mods back, I had a quick run last night and it seemed ok. I wonder if over time, adding mods destabilises it and causes issues? Hopefully TSW6 won’t require so many mods.
That’s interesting to know, hopefully one for DTG Matt and his team to look at sorting with the next iteration of TSW.
You might be getting stuck AI. On Frankfurt Fulda, but this is not the main cause of Jetset James problem. His problem is that he was getting the 465 appearing on a timetable that does not use it and therefore if got stuck because it was not supposed to be there. A couple of us were able to complete the same services with no issues and were not seeing any 465’s. 100% chance that the 465 appearing was caused by a mod. I get loads of problems with mods, but it’s easy to track them down just by copying them out temporarily and only putting back what you need for the route you want to play. As mods are not supported officially it’s a risk you take, but modders are amazing. I’d hate to play on PC without mods. The OTS Timetable for WCML being one of the best. Some of the freight runs are awesome with all the AI passing you frequently. The free Birmingham Cross City Timetable is also fantastic- Just as good as the paid Rivet Version in my opinion.
Thankfully a full and clean reinstall has sorted everything and the OTS is working beautifully, not a SE 465 in sight
