It all finished with tsw5 updates. Unless other wise. But besides other dlc releases I think that about it.
afaik, class 86, class 170 WMR & XC pack, and expert DB BR 101 gameplay pack were the last three dlcs for TSW5. new dlcs will only come with TSW6 but you never know if they'll give us at least one more core/dlcs update
To quote a famous comment of Sam's, remember him, "If it's not on the road map, then we don't know anything about it"
TBH this quote gives us an obvious clue as to what DTG could do to speed up the pace of development of TSW. They're still using Maps whilst the rest of us are using SATNAVs, and have been for years !!! Mind you, I suppose a map is much easier to use, than a satnav, to paper over the cracks in TSW
I think at this point you need TSW6 to come out and see what it is and what content it brings, wait another month or so for the dust to settle and then all the different projects should have solid timelines on them.
I’m sure any updates that will come out (if any) will bug fixes. Any promised free updates (GWE Remaster, Fife Circle 158 Timetable, British Rail Class 104) will come out in TSW6. (Although the Class 104 has disappeared. And will probably pull a DB BR 420 and suddenly reappear in several months time.)
I've said it many times, but like repeating myself. Should that 104 ever appear, they need to do a BR Blue version and have it layer into other routes, such as Blackpool Branches. I have no interest in a green version but if there was a Blue one that also layered, I'd definitely get it.
Definitely, we need more BR Blue era Slam Doors. Just substituting the 101 into every Blue era route is outright lazy. There are plenty of common/similar units of the era still running on heritage railways. If it’s slam door EMU’s then they have an issue with running sounds.
Southern Region Slamdoor EMUs have authentic sounds available from AP. It is possibe to create one as the reference material is out there too... I can't speak from AC Slamdoor EMUs however.
