I just did a scenario on the, Horseshoe Curve route, or tried to do. And, find out there's a major problem with yard track spacing in, Rose Yard. This manifest I was waiting on, got caught between a train & a hard place, which was another train. I had to crank up the brightness and exposure since it was a night time scene.
For future reference, you can make it day time in photo mode to get a better shot instead of messing with brightness. (not saying the shot is bad, I can clearly see whats going on)
Sadly the chances of that getting fixed are probably next to none. Skyhook seem to have abandoned route building and ripping the guts out of the track database to realign several parallel sections would be a major undertaking.
What platform are you on (PC, PS4/PS5, Xbox)? Which version of TSW are you running? Do you have an older version if you are not on the first release (first release of that route TSW2)? Which scenario is it?
While I am on the PS4 as well as I have older versions of TSW than just version 5, I was able to complete it even though the spacing is way to close. This screen shot is very close (a few yards/feet) to the final stopping point. You might be able too as long as you are not blocked by another train.
Since you are on the PC, there is also God Mode which you can use to tell you completed the objective. Since I do not have this on the PC, you have to ask someone else about that.
Well, I tried to go ahead and complete the scenario. But, there is a freight that I have to wait on in one part. The passing freight is the train that is getting wedged in, hence leaving it's tail end fouling the track that I am on. And, I don't have any options to use another turnout and run around it. It's no biggie really, I have plenty of other scenarios. I just thought I would share, to bring attention to it. Just in case there might be a chance it could get fixed. But, the posts I've read about design issues that have been ongoing for a long time. I'm not real optimistic about it.
