On PC no, mod is just as good (and better in some respects), on console yes - plus 3 extra scenarios but they are ehh.
I’m still waiting for the updated class 150/2 TFW sounds that were originally mentioned in may. DTG Alex told me in the beginning of June/july that they’ll be coming soon. It’s now August and not a word mentioned about them, absolutely lovely! I’ve been playing TSW since it first came to console. After all these years, I sit back sometimes and think, what seriously happened to DTG? Just bugs after bugs after all sorts, and it gets worse with every title…
Too many projects and not enough staff? Or lack of people with the necessary skills and knowledge. It would be easy to blame Focus Entertainment but the fire and forget policy was in place long before they took DTG over.
Hey folks. I've seen reports of the rumbling sounds inside 170s/232s when another 170 is nearby. Does anyone have a video of this issue they're able to link to?
for me the entire sound cuts out for a brief second and slowly comes back when passing at speed. I'll try and get a clip
I’m on the PS5 and the game has crashed multiple times now. I just started a run from Lichtfield to Bromsgrove around 1800 hours and as soon as a class 390 passed the game crashed. This shouldn’t happen. Not this far into the game
Is there going to be any fixes for the wrongly-routed Cross Country services? A number of folk have raised the issue but nothing's been said in response. I'd love to start doing the CC BHM-BROM services but can't due to this.
Hey! Ich spiele auf Ps5. Habe alle Routen seit Tsw2. Ich habe vor kurzem alle Creators Club Inhalte gelöscht und keine Abstürze mehr. Es liegt wohl an Tsw5.
Have done a few more runs and the AI traffic picked up a bit, don't know why. I have all layers except for the 150. And quite a bit of adverse signalling which is good. No gameplay problems except, as others have mentioned, only the 170/6 has Raildriver enabled. One disappointing thing is that the 170 hardly notices the Lickey Incline, even in snowy conditions, very typical of overpowered dmu's/emu's in the game.
I think it might have to do with special liveries. But entering Birmingham has also crashed the game 2 times
Does this still happen if you turn off one of the layers? We've had some folks run a service with layers off, then turned them back on gradually and it seems to help with crashing. And does it happen with the liveries back to default (assuming you mean special liveries from Creator Club?)
DTG Harry I found and reported here a wrongly routed train (CC170 onto Lifford Curve towards the Camp Hill line) and at the same time others were reporting multiple instances of the same problem on those services. However, it has since gone quiet, but I don't want to start a service and drive to University in order to see whether it works or not, only to find it hasn't. So has it quietly been fixed, which is why no one talks about it anymore? I'd appreciate a response as I'm raring to go with all those services south bound!
I can't find a feedback thread for Birmingham Cross City, so I'm posting in here. Has there been a patch for this route which improves the lighting? I'm driving this route after a long hiatus because I purchased the 170 pack and I'm noticing that the night lighting seems to be much better than I remember it. ( no I don't have new specs ) I'll drive some more to make sure. Just wondered.
It also happens when in any train on the fife circle line and a 170 comes near you, engine is apparently so gutsy it makes other trains quake in their boots
Platform: Xbox one Service: 1V23 @ 08:48 Hrs What is up with the 170/5 suspension? It's so jittery as if the rails aren't smooth and so the sound is affected to a bit like when you haven't quite got a radio station tuned properly but quite a faint noise. Also there's seems to be a strange occurrence that's also present on the 350 on WCMLS. When coasting or in lower notches, the accelerometer is constantly up and and down, flicking between blue and orange. On the 170 this is also seen on the Speedo at slow speed when leaving Birmingham New Street. Flickering around the 10mph mark.
