Expect The Unexpected? Any Ideas?

So you're not a big fan of what you've seen?

I know you can't say much but some of the other ambassadors have seemed a bit more positive about it.

Well, the ambassadors aren't exactly going to say "yeah it sucks and it's absolutely awful"

 

Well one of them sounded like they kinda just did, that's why i'm trying to get clarification. I don't want to put words in anyone's mouth. They had previously mentioned knowing what's coming, so.....

 

Not at all I'm a fan of whats coming, never said my actual opinion on it.

I just see people expecting too much to ever be accomplished in such a short time.

But my opinion if you want it is some people who have been crtical of DTG are going to be pleasantly suprised.

Anyways I have to leave the forums for a bit as I'm too tempted to give away info. But have promised I wouldn't to the employee I know.

I reckon aa well new routes but routes that use trains already in the game . That way less work for them and more money for them. Lol

Multiplayer lite. Player 1 as an engineer, player 2 as a conductor. No one really expects this.

 

Expect the unexpected.. your game will crash randomly, just when you least expect it!
I will buy on day one but am really enjoying the stutter-free, crash-free TSC just now.

 

But there are almost no crash anyway - I remember only a couple of times.

 

I absolutely love that they've now stuck the "Expect the Unexpected" slogan on the loading screen. And when you switch cameras between the head and tail of a really long train, a loading screen appears with that inscription. At one point, the second locomotive didn't load on time and there was a gap in the train for a couple of seconds. That was really unexpected! Thanks loading screen for the warning!

 

Accesable, flushable toilets or possible new 'Trolley Service' mode, where we get to push a rickety cart through the coaches serving customers (that is providing said passengers haven't all got off at the first station)!

 

At that point might as well add usable bins that can open and shut, and on the topic of bathrooms might as well add the baby changing bathroom with usable bin lol, at least that could add a cleaning mode lol

 

God forbid a SWR train entering the game, the amount of times I've had blocked and full toilets swishing over the edge with waste, in real life on their services, I don't fancy my chances with that being simulated in game either!

With a 'jobby' as a collectable... I will get my coat before I make anymore distasteful jokes!

The freight section on that route is quite hilly and steep

 

It’s not even that; You have to spend 2 minutes in notch 1 before you can notch up otherwise it will show as overcharging the engine. I don’t encounter things like this on other routes like SEH

 

Better than one I had the other week where it looked like someone's insides exploded everywhere.

I am now expecting a full recreation of AT LEAST the Western half of the Trans-Siberian Railway as it was in late 1941, complete with the wartime "human block signalling" system and historically accurate multi-day scenarios having to do with the evacuation of millions of people and thousands of factories away from the front, deep into Siberia and the Ural mountains.

Anything else and I will be SEVERELY disappointed; a feeling I will promptly express here and wherever else I might care to.

I am being sarcastic, of course. The point I'm trying to make is the same: every time DTG tries to hype things up, it backfires badly, leading to customer unhappiness and further erosion of their reputation (such as it is). Kinda crazy how they keep stepping on this rake time and again.

 

The Thomas reveal at Christmas felt like the scene in the office where David Brent told everyone might be being made redundant but the good news is he was getting a promotion lol

 

Here’s my guess: the increased camera speed will return on consoles. Would take me by surprise honestly, since we haven’t had it for 2-3 games now

Im kinda hoping for a new USA freight route along with a longer Welsh route and a new country route Italy/Spanish would be good. Actually I think i would like no new routes and a whole lot of remasters and improvements to the game its self.

This is actually true!!!

 

As a Xbox owner I’m hoping for the audio pops and z fighting graphical glitches to be carried forward onto the latest version, so we can raise the issue with the Dev team again and then be ignored for another year.

 

Performance will be better on PlayStation 5. Have stopped playing it last 4 months. Bad fps drops. Stuttering. Poor performance on new routes.

It's high time to do this. The current generation of consoles is already at the end of its life.
