    I’m sure there’s got to be a hint in the Instagram video just posted but I don’t have the patience to analyse every frame.

    Italian tropes = Italian route?

    I have it on good authority that TSW6 WILL include a Class 66 in some variety. Great news as they are desperately underrepresented in game

    Just listened to the TSW 6 music on Classic FM. Sounds good to me. Good job, Benjamin Symons.

    Ok so i am feeling a hunch that the new us train is going to be avelia liberty the reason why i say this is because one of youtuber name train sim society have a video that leak out a photo that show the data that one of the filename is liberty for US, which refers to the Amtrak new train call Amtrak Avelia Liberty, which will be officially in service two day after TSW 6 have announced. This is the reason why i believe that we will be getting a new Amtrak Route. The timing couldn't have been more perfect since DTG back then have also promoted for Amtrak in real life because which i believe it was for TSW3 the loco itself, where the decal or livery was place on the real train itself at 34th street Penn station. Now Which Route would this Amtrak Avelia Liberty be running on? Does this mean the route could head to Philly or Washington DC Union Station. Only time will tell...... :o:cool::D

    Personally i find leaks a bit annoying.
    Doesn’t change the time we have to wait to use the content, we’d fine out anyway.

    All it does is tell us what the content is going to be and then we’ll have to wait longer after knowing what it is than if we just let DTG announce it themselves

    I’ve done some digging into the leak and it’s not an 802, but an 810 disguised as an 802, meaning I believe the Uk route will be the Thameslink Network: Bedford, King’s Lynn and Peterborough to Brighton, Sutton, East Grinstead, Littlehampton, Rainham, Orpington, Horsham and Severnoaks via St Pancras and Kings Cross

    I don't like electric transportation, it must be because in my country electric energy is terrible. If it's an American electric route, I'll wait for the Santa Fe DLC.

    It's definitely NOT an 810. 810 has a slightly different body compared to other 80x units;

    Here's a Class 802;

    And here's an 810;

    Why do all of them look the same as the 800, what happened to the different designs of the good old times

    They are all designed and built by Hitachi and part of the same family. They just have slightly different specs and slightly modified appearances.

    Hitachi making trains is wrong, all I can associate with them is those stacked hi-fi systems of the 80s upload_2025-8-26_9-2-15.jpeg

    Ah the good old days of a proper hi fi stack, not a MP3 player or Bose tucked in the corner.

    Seem to recall one of our early LED TV’s was a Hitachi 32” model.

    Large families of similar-looking trains aren't a new invention. Deutsche Bundesbahn had a four-digit number of Einheitselloks (E10, E40, E41, E50), almost all their post-V200 mainline diesel locomotives looked almost exactly like a 218, and even during the steam era there were families of locos using common parts and design principles.

    Plus of course there's more variety during all of "the good old times" (quite a long timeframe) than in the present (just one point in time).

    80xs aren't the only trains that look similar, look at all the electrostars. Even the 357 looks like a Turbostar

    As do some 168 variants.

    Even better, 171s are just 170s with different couplers (if I remember right).

    That's correct. I believe they have the same couplers as the 377, in case of an emergency

    Electrostars, Turbostars, Desiros etc... all follow a mostly standardised design. I think the Electrostars and Turbostars are also of a modular design for simplicity.

    Nice to see NJT in TSW finally... BUT...I'd rather they went further west than Dover.

    West of Dover it's Hackettstown. Watching it right now and it turns out they got the EMU in my profile picture Arrow III and ALP-45DP.

    Question for DTG I appreciate the work for the NJT route but why not add the NJT comet cars for the ALP45 or will they come as a DLC add on?

    Really pleased with the UK release, but it is a shame the 221 doesn't come as well

    I'm pretty pleased with these routes. Exeter - Plymouth & Paignton was always highly requested, Morristown will be a nice long stopping route & Leipzig - Dresden you can't go wrong with due to the sheer variety of services.

    Does the 802 come with guard mode? If so, really hope they upgrade the 801 too!

    Ok, this is a fantastic release - delighted announcements are here too. I do hope they expand to previous routes at some point, particularly the ECML

    In the case of Dresden Hbf Riesa-Leipzig Hbf route play it like the original Dresden Riesa route.

    Great to hear that announcements are coming to TSW to enhance the immersion. Hopefully in time they will be introduced to other TSW routes.

    I'm excited for the NY-Stamford route. I wonder if they'll include both the Hell Gate line to Penn and the MNRR line to GCT?

    I can't sit through all the "pat each other on the back" in the video, can someone give me a quick rundown as what has been announced so far?
    I'm guessing a Voyager :( and another New York route?

    I had a hard time understanding the scope of the routes, especially the German one, without maps. All to come in the future I guess but not knowing the routes already means I still don’t know them now. None of them. Just a load of place names.

    If the texture blurring in TSW6 is not resolved, will it be on PS5 unplayable (especially Dresden - Leipzig) or will the schedule be reduced? :|
