Come on now, this is getting silly. I was expecting functional GSMR but yet, still NOT added. The least DTG can do. It's already in train sim classic. Just to enhance gameplay a little bit more. There can be options to turn off gsmr log in. But just for the experienced players who want more realism into the games.
May I also add onto this, it's not a hard system. There could also be a tutorial on how to use a GSMR. You enter your headcode for the train you are running and the current signal you are at. For example, you are leaving a depot. Your headcode would be 5A21. You enter that in your GSMR then type in your signal number. Let's pretend it's AD01. You type that in and that's it. Without typing all of that in. You can't move past a signal. Obviously there can be options to disable this in settings.
This is something I’d really like to see and in fact I brought up in the TSW6 Q&A thread. I would assume something like this, unfortunately, would only be implemented on a UK ‘Expert’ train. I say this because of the existing Expert German Loco which has a fully interactive Radio interface
