Replacing Track

One of the routes I purchased some time ago was Pietermaritzburg to Ladysmith.
It is ok but I wanted to replace the track.

SAR Routes are Meter Gauge and I thought of swapping the track for Albula Line track.

I think the swap went ok but the route crashes when I try to open it - I think it is because of the higher quality of the Swiss track - not sure

So I was wondering if anyone knew of any other Meter Gauge track I could use - nothing on Rail Sim.de I could see.

I thought SAR tracks were cape gauge (3' 6") the same as Japan, except for the Shinkansen routes. New Zealand is also cape gauge.

Have you tried a Japanese or NZ track?

 

I noticed there was a slight difference when I laid the Swiss track but it made no difference to the loco

I do have a Japanese route from Union Railroads so I will try again with that.

 

There's a track upgrade for the Japanese routes, maybe it could be used on the South African ones.

Australia has some 1067mm gauge tracks but no route in TS unfortunately.

I tried the Union Railroads track from a JNR route I purchased some time ago and it seems to have worked so far.
But this track from LP does look good

To follow up with a different global track replacement question.

How do you globally change the track property that controls bouncing and unevenness please? Some routes seem to have this set to zero, and I want to introduce some.

I really need help. Can anyone tell me in detail how to change the rails on the route on AP Track.
I want to make a change on the Ruhr Sieg Nord route, but I can't find an accessible manual.
I would be very grateful for any help provided.

 

Do you have and know how to use TS Tools?

I presume you wish to change the Deafault track TO AP track?
it might not look very good as European track looks different to UK track

 

I have TS tools. I only know how to change the rolling stock in scenarios. I don't know how to change the track and I ask for help.
Can you teach me?
