I want to know what fellow train enthusiasts thoughts are on having The Harlem Line extended from North White Plains to Southeast???

In my opinion, The Harlem Line is just way to short & I believe it's in desperate need of an extension.

Personally I feel that it would be nice to have but I would prefer to see other Metro North lines first like the Hudson line or New Haven Line.

Yeah I would be keen for The Hudson Line from Grand Central Terminal to Croton & Harmon.

This post was made before the New Haven Line was announced so I'm afraid you are a little bit late to the party.

Mta routes are not my cup if tea i do prefer intercity and freight. But i do also believe that when routes are made they should be made properly such as you are requesting they should try to avoid weird end locations.

TBF, a few of the New Haven Line trains do start or end at Stamford, so it isn't just a random station on the line.

And it was the same thing with North White Plains on the Harlem Line hense why cutting the line off there never bothered me all that much. Upon researching the route Amtrak journeys from New York to New Haven are actually over an hour and a half. This is pushing it for being too long for my tastes for TSW routes and MTA services would in no doubt be longer. I don't think cutting the route off at Stanford would be such a bad idea after all.
