Yes, my bad. Didn't pick up the TSW6 bit at the bottom. Standing down from gibbering mode. Maybe October will have a Cucumber challenge - drive 500 miles in the GWR Class 802!
There ought never to be a challenge tied to a specific route. Anyone who gets the starter pack to upgrade TSW5 or earlier won't have one of the new core routes.
I'm not crazy about badges in Mastery challenges, since not that many people use Livery Designer, and of those who do most prefer to recreate RL liveries. Personally I have no use for them. Why not make posters, as we have now with route challenges? They perhaps could even rotate images in the same "frame," if the routines they wrote for Bidstack are still around.
On the roadmap they said monthly masteries are getting posters, there will be 2 tiers, 1 for a badge and 1 for a poster.
Good point. Of course my suggestion was a bit tongue in cheek. However you could argue putting collectibles as one of the objectives is encouraging people to buy more content particularly if you have already “harvested” most of the available ones from your existing routes.
I think the idea is going to be posters for specific routes. Also as long as it isn't always the same 3 routes, what's the problem? Maybe it doesn't make sense to have them both time-specific and location-specific though.
Could you please add more spots for posters along the route? On some routes there are no poster placements at stations at all, or sometimes there’s just a single one.
