125 group HST set with 43159 'Rio Warrior' and 43060 passing near to me this morning (30th August). 1Z62 Crewe - Great Yarmouth for the Retro Broadsman Railtour. Also passing just minutes later in the opposite direction was 1Z52 which was 57313 and 57315 with the Northern Belle set pass on The Settle and Carlisle special from Hull to Carlisle.

With the DB BR 101 my favourite it was a very pleasant surprise to still see a couple in real-life - almost three years since last time for me. Ironically, this wasn't in Germany but at Switzerland's Basel Bad Bf (although the station is operated by DB) and just approximately 1km south of the German border. All pictures taken by me
