The Riviera Line in the Fifties route, one of my favourite routes, has a bit of an issue when in Quick Drive. If you are going from Kingswear, Dawlish Warren will be as far as you can go, because you cannot change the points to go back on the line from the platform. If you run to Kingswear, however, Dawlish Warren is bypassed, and you cannot stop at Kingswear because there is always another train sitting at the platform. I believe this has been an issue ever since the route was created back in 2014 or so, and I'm surprised Dovetail hasn't fixed it. On a side note, I am still playing TSC2024, yet the game updated this spring back to TSC, but Steam says it is up to date, despite the update message being in the game's Steam menu.
When you look at your settings (right click library file) it should show which version of TSC you are executing. Top option in the list I believe.
I'm a visual person, so I'm having to guess. When I right click on the file, the options Play, Add to Favorites, Add To, Manage, and Properties show up. What am I doing wrong?
On your Steam page, select the Library tab in the upper left, then select collections like this. If you want to know what version it shows you when the game is loading.
Are you getting confused between Quick Drive and Free Roam? Quick Drive you set the start and end locations and the time/weather. Then you stop where you want but you cannot change the path of the train or change directions Free Roam is put a train on the track with a driver icon then drive where you want.
I have been told by somebody who knows a bit more than me. Open the southbound QD in the editor and delete the static loco at Kingswear. Save the scenario
I could try that, but the game would very likely freeze and then crash if I spend too much time in Scenario Tools.
