A very big thank you for the quick reply! The only thing i was doing wrong was putting the reverser in NEUTRAL position instead of the OFF position. The locomotive is absolutely a masterpiece! again thank you . Αnd slow gear gives a big acceleration boost especially in starting the train and generally low speeds. at higher speeds the faster acceleration diminishes as it should!
The 218 itself has disappeared from the 218 Maintalbahn timetable. Layer reads as not owned even though I have it installed and none appear as AI. This is on PS5.
More like a suggestion than actual feedback, but... The E94 and some of the newer freight cars have got this neat little feature, to be able to climb below the buffer for accessing the coupling: This would be a neat thing to have on the 218s as well! I rather enjoy it, adds quite a bunch of immersion and makes coupling/decoupling procedures feel more real
Yes, I love this new feature too Of course, it had to come from TSG, which is the developer that always cares the most about innovating and implementing new and ingenious things.
That's not really a new feature. It's there since years. I might have forgotten to activate it for the 218. I will check that.
The Class 20 was the first one I did it on, which was a result of during the Class 31 preview stream the streamer fell between the buffers on the wagons and got trapped, so after that I always try and provide a way out! That and so you don't have to walk around the entire train just to go to the other side (and in some cases it allows you to more easily uncouple/couple).
Thank you all for the clarification. As the first time I noticed this feature was in Mittenwaldbah I mistakenly thought that TSG had been implemented.
DBB BR 218 ocean blue / ivory Using the indicator dimmer rotates the timetable light switch into the driver's desk, both cabs are affected.
Due to an update of my 3D software after the initial release of the 218, all skinning weights got messed up. I had to manually rebind evvery movable part like switches, handles, needles, etc. when I rebuilt the existing cab for the blue-beige version. All fixes will come live with the next update. Hopefully I didn`t miss any more tiny part.
I almost feel a bit ashamed that I didn't notice this issue earlier, but that might depend on the lack of widespread use of the n-Wagen diesel cab car (so far). On said n-Wagen diesel cab car (Bnrdzf 463.0 diesel), when you are shunting and approaching a signal showing Sh 1, you have to acknowledge it by keeping "PZB Befehl" pressed. But when you pass the signal, instead of the "Befehl 40" lamp in the small PZB box coming on, the Getriebe lamp lights up (and remains lit until you release PZB Befehl). Can be repeated. I encountered it on Seblay's excellent Niddertalbahn 2007 timetable, service "Abstellung in Glauburg-Stockheim". That's some weird cross-wiring going on Edit: Seems this can be replicated anywhere. Spawned a 218 with n-Wagen and cab at Bremen Hbf, went from there to the sidings cab-first, same result.
Yeah, was a wrong indicator slot index used there. I have fixed and submitted it. No idea when or if it will be released.
I'm starting to feel as if DTG is holding you guys back on purpose, considering how long we had (and still have) to wait for all those Mittenwaldbahn and LFR timetable fixes...
DTG is not holding anyone back by purpose. It's how things are working in general. Before a new release version of an DLC it needs to be tested by QA and Beta. That needs time, staff and that costs money, a lot of it i think. So, for such a tiny fix they will not fire up that machinery. We need to collect fixes and when it's enough to push them out, they will get pushed out. With the 218 fixes we might have some luck to get it out with TSW6 automatically because each DLC needs to be QA passed anyways for that major release.
I can't provide a fix for something where i don't know the cause of it. I tried to figure out what is wrong, but there isn't anything wrong in setup.
