After the succes of the first Dutch route i am disappointed and surprised that there isn't a new Dutch route on the roadmap. I know Zwolle to Groningen is maybe not the most fun route with straight tracks.
DTG made the step and now should continue with the Netherlands. There is so much potential and the Dutch Trainsim community is big.
DTG proved they can do it well and it was well received. The Dutch railways (NS) was very cooperative. So what is holding them back?

For me the TSW6 routes are disappointing. Not because they are not Dutch but go crazy for once and do a London to Penzance. Paris to Marseille. Berlin to Munich. Instead of small routes once in a while and leave them behind. Create a network of something. London under or overground. TGV network. SBahn. Make up your mind.

    Create something sustainable.

I wouldn't rule out a new Dutch route in TSW 6 just yet. For the past few years DTG have released 5 new first party routes in between the major September releases and only 2 have been announced so far. The roadmap might seem busy, especially the 0-3 months section, but most of it is third party releases.

Other dlcs need their chance and planning out a dlc is way more complicated. It's not as simple as pick this railway and train and do it. Also they can only do so much at one time

It’s slightly strange as on the leaked artwork prior to the Direct, there was a picture of a Dutch train alongside the GWR Class 802. Then the reality turned up with extended Dresden to Riesa. So there is an outside chance another Dutch route could be on the cards.

Though nice as it is, Zwolle to Groningen did get a bit repetitive going back and forth and both trains were a bit disappointing physics wise and the ICm rather poor sounds. Any future Dutch route IMHO needs to capitalise on some sort of network layout and maybe include some of the older more iconic trains, including loco hauled.

That artwork i believe is used to promote the Deluxe edition of TSW6, nothing more.

DTG even have it in their social media atm.

Well, I still have hope. DTG said they wanted to collect feedback on Zwolle-Groningen so they know what to do (and what not to do) for a future Dutch route, so hopefully it just takes a bit more time before they can actually start developing another Dutch route.

Zwolle-Groningen seems to have done exceptionally well, number of reviews are higher than other recent add-ons which would indicate a high number of sales (unfortunately no real sales data I could find), and reviews are also pretty positive. DTG seemed happy with the collaboration with NS, so it seems it'd be a shame not to develop another Dutch route.

I was also disappointed that there was no mention a new Dutch route in the DTG Direct. Let's hope a second Dutch route in TSW6 is still in the cards. Although, as it's not on the roadmap at this time, it think it would probably be near the end of TSW6's lifespan.
But we definitely need more Dutch routes in the game. And Belgian routes as well, but that will probably never happen :(

I really hoped the Netherlands would become a regular in TSW. I really wouldn’t mind if they rotated German, Austrian & Dutch content. German stuff is getting quite stale & I think that third slot in the primary content line up would be served much better as a European slot instead of purely German.

I’m waiting for a sale for this one as it’s looks to be linear and an A to B run to me. I’m looking forward to the Czech route though as it’s more retro.
Tadami is also similar but the scenery looks nice, it’ll have to be to tempt me day 1 as it’s a one train linear route, at least the Dutch has 2 units.

Yes I’m fairly certain the Czech route will be Day One. Has the advantage of being diesel, the only caveat being how good the sounds on the loco and railcar are.
