Thought we could do with a dedicated thread for this!

For TSW6’s Core Routes, it looks as though we’ll be getting two tiered Mastery again, with both Route Posters and a mysterious Scenery Tile!

..and as for the route collectibles, some can already be seen in various preview screens or videos.. like the defibrillators at Exeter St. David’s.

I wonder what tasks we could face, what Scenery Tiles are unlockable.. and whether collectibles will have some relevance or theming for the individual routes?

Personally, and speaking from a UK perspective, I’d expect something beach, seaside or summer holiday related for a Scenery Tile - something like a regatta or boating event along one of the Riviera’s costal towns. For a more ‘wildcard’ guess, a pesky seagull atop an overflowing station bin would make for a light hearted and novel collectible!

What do you think we might see?
(assuming it’s not already been stated and I’ve completely missed it!)

To be brutally honest, after the reaction to last nights German route stream the last thing on my mind is the “fluff” but more what sort of mess we can expect when TSW6 lands.

I would like the masteries more if you could actually interact with them example boston sprinter the mastery is a docked boat . So make it so we could go and look on the boat. And I enjoy the collectibles gives me chance to explore the route. But at the moment im more concerned about how good or bad the routes are when they release. I pre ordered so I get 5 days early access witch means im beta testing for them lol.

I would love if masteries gave you sub classes or liverys for the trains of the route at least that would actually be worth the time because some of the ones in game suck

There have been a few.. the ‘duck watching’ on Goblin / Suffragette and then others like the illuminated promenade at Morecambe that you could walk around. I agree though, more ‘interactive’ ones would be sweet.

A retro livery would be a hit. Not sure how it would be received on a modern EMU though.

Isn’t there special liverys made for EMUs or is that not a thing?, nameplates?, honestly anything over something that is pretty unseeable for 95% of route would be nice

I can’t think of any, other than older EMU’s that are still operating having their original liveries reapplied - like the NSE 465.

Dynamic world ‘tiles’ is worth a discussion in itself though. Things like station car parks being empty at night and full in the day.. different patterns for landing planes. Higher passenger density on stations at rush hour too..

I wouldn’t want any passenger linked stuff until they fix their ai

also stuff most of this stuff you won’t really see, hmm I do wonder in the older routes if it would be realistic to see the milk way in the sky while in the middle of nowhere like WCML 1980s where towns are pretty far apart so light pollution is a lot less
