Fife Update

Am I making this up or wasnt there supposed to be an update at some point to Fife by Skyhook ala EDG?

 

Still in progress - sounds like the original RG timetable was a mess and required heavy overall

 

Last update I heard was in the Roadmap and basically said progress is going well. Just needs more time.

I’m looking forward to it. It will be worth the wait. I wonder if the update will come with more fixes to the route. Doubtful but who knows…

I'd rather Skyhook take their time on this even if it takes longer then expected. After a few bumps in their initial products, they've really turned their content into really good stuff...

I'm excited for this, as I'm sure this may give FCL the edge and TLC it deserves and really open up it's playbility with a good timetable.

Yes, and, it is but only in scenarios.

Lucazone has said in another thread the QA testing is beginning imminently.

 

RG messed up? Well there’s a surprise.

 

I wish they would expend past Edinburgh Waverley to the Craigentinny Depot which would add even more playablity to the route

 

It’s been like two years now so I think it’s time to add it to the list of stuff that got announced but is never coming like the class 104, the steam engine by Victoria works and a few others I think

 

Funnily enough, I was streaming Fife last night, rode a train all the way to "Queen Street" via... the void, apparently.



One of the folks in my discord was berating me for not following Scotrail's explicit instructions, surmising that it was likely the consequence of me flushing my hopes and dreams when I visited the toilet on the train.

 

When the timetable final arrives will the 158 come in the Leven print on the train. Thanks

 

I suspect this is waiting for the 220 to come out so it can layer in. Though I don’t like the delay, I don’t mind for the improved gameplay

 

Hopefully a nice update in October roadmap. I just hope everything is going smoothly with the timetable. I wonder if they will include the 220 also. That’s a good point.

 

It would be nice to have confirmation of this from the SHG team

 

It’s not mentioned on the road map (was it ever?)

As we are kept being told if it’s not on the road map it’s not close to release. If we see it at all I will be pleasanty surprised

The most recent mention from Skyhook was them saying that DTG told them it would be made available after the launch of tsw6

 

I reading another thread cant remember witch one . Dtg have had the timetable since March so if they have what an earth have they been doing with it.
