    The Friedrichshafen Stadt – Lindau-Insel railway line runs along the shores of Lake Constance (Bodensee), in the German state of Baden-Württemberg and Bavaria. It is a single-track electrified line, approximately 22.5 km long, connecting the heart of German lake transport between the cities of Friedrichshafen and Lindau.
    The route passes through picturesque landscapes, picturesque villages, and protected natural areas, with a mix of scenic routes, railway bridges, and historic stations.

    Intersecting or connecting railway lines
    Ulm–Friedrichshafen Line (KBS 751): Connects with Ulm, Ravensburg, and Memmingen.

    Lindau–Munich Line (KBS 970): Interchange in Lindau for trains to Munich.

    RE5 / EC / IC / Railjet: International trains pass through Lindau to Austria, Switzerland, and Germany.

    Awesome idea and your clarity fantastic definitely a good idea as we could use fresh German rolling stock
