This dlc is fast becoming battle of the seats. Because honestly I'd really rather miss the Voyager after the 5 hour+ trip to Bangor from Euston one day. It was torture, they're so uncomfortable!

Although I think I've only done an IET once, down to Plymouth actually but don't really remember the comfort. What I will say is that after spending countless hours on the Bluebell in the mk1s and the metropolitan set that is how seating should be done :D

Then again Southern aren't much better down my end. The ironing boards on the 377s and previously the 313s are dreadful.

Now that I think about it, maybe that’s what the Class 47 and Mk3 layer is! They are doing that for the GWR Remaster.

Nice to know they changed the 220 pic with the actual class 220 and not the Leipzig - Dresden BR 411.

Yes I reported that when it got sent out. Glad it's fixed, and with more screenshots too now. :)

Oosh. Don’t forget Tyler (I think his name was) is now the de facto timetable guy / face of the company, at Rivet. Let’s see what becomes of it!

He did a fantastic job on the new BCC timetable so don’t have any concerns about his timetable for this one.

Do the 801s drive pretty much the same as the 802s.

Pretty much, though there will be slower acceleration etc. on the 802s as they are diesel, and probably slightly longer to decelerate as the train may be heavier with more GUs. Just all depends on how the physics are set up really.

On electric mode they should handle largely identically, the 802 might just accelerate a little slower given the extra weight of the engines but not by much. Diesel mode however will make it feel a lot more sluggish. It can still reach the same 125mph but it takes a lot longer to get there, and it will also be slower when pulling away from a stop because even if you go to full throttle from a standstill, it takes a few seconds for the engines to actually spin up. Braking between them is largely identical regardless of power mode, and the cab layout I believe is also identical save for maybe a few stickers or button colours which are just operator specific changes.
