This dlc is fast becoming battle of the seats. Because honestly I'd really rather miss the Voyager after the 5 hour+ trip to Bangor from Euston one day. It was torture, they're so uncomfortable!

Although I think I've only done an IET once, down to Plymouth actually but don't really remember the comfort. What I will say is that after spending countless hours on the Bluebell in the mk1s and the metropolitan set that is how seating should be done :D

Then again Southern aren't much better down my end. The ironing boards on the 377s and previously the 313s are dreadful.

Now that I think about it, maybe that’s what the Class 47 and Mk3 layer is! They are doing that for the GWR Remaster.

Nice to know they changed the 220 pic with the actual class 220 and not the Leipzig - Dresden BR 411.

Oosh. Don’t forget Tyler (I think his name was) is now the de facto timetable guy / face of the company, at Rivet. Let’s see what becomes of it!

He did a fantastic job on the new BCC timetable so don’t have any concerns about his timetable for this one.

Do the 801s drive pretty much the same as the 802s.

Pretty much, though there will be slower acceleration etc. on the 802s as they are diesel, and probably slightly longer to decelerate as the train may be heavier with more GUs. Just all depends on how the physics are set up really.

On electric mode they should handle largely identically, the 802 might just accelerate a little slower given the extra weight of the engines but not by much. Diesel mode however will make it feel a lot more sluggish. It can still reach the same 125mph but it takes a lot longer to get there, and it will also be slower when pulling away from a stop because even if you go to full throttle from a standstill, it takes a few seconds for the engines to actually spin up. Braking between them is largely identical regardless of power mode, and the cab layout I believe is also identical save for maybe a few stickers or button colours which are just operator specific changes.

Watch it have camera barriers like that one germany route set in the 1990s with a really good lake section but huge amount of camera barriers because they hate us

They should get rid off the invisible barriers so we can explore every inch of the route we pay for that route at least let explore it in full.

The problem is that a small proportion of numpties then sit on the forums and social media posting pictures taken out of bounds picking holes at scenery that was never part of the original route. The old problem of giving people too much freedom and they abuse it.

A week to go before early access, probably the most excited I’ve been for a TSW DLC. One of my favourite DLC’s in TSC. And personally, one of my favourite parts of the UK, having spent nearly every year down there on holiday on the English Riviera. There’s nothing else like it.

Fingers crossed, there’s a good number of services, we’re not talking a busy commuter route but it still has its fair share of services!

To be honest, its so cool to be able to look at an image of random track and know exactly where it is. I've never experienced this before.
I can't wait for the preview stream, it feels like every day is a year.

I really do feel DTG are missing a trick in regard to mods. If consoles can support them, this is just another revenue stream to be taken advantage of. I would happily pay a tenner for ‘god mode’ or a soundpack etc. It’s also a little ridiculous what is available on TSC (a 20 year old game) compared to TSW.

Wouldn't be upto microsoft or Sony to allow mods on consoles.

Yes, DTG hate the very people who give them money to buy their products

    What is wrong with you?
