Steam No Progress Is Saved

    I play TSW5 on my PC. Recently, my saved progress is no longer showing. I don’t have any medals anymore, and all trains show 0 points again. The route selection screen still displays the distance traveled, and completed scenarios are marked with a white checkmark.

    Hello. I don't mean to be rude but do you work for DTG? I wasn't around on the 22nd of August so I may have missed your introduction. I tried searching but found nothing.

    I think it's the lack of 'DTG-nika' username that's throwing me off. That and the frown at the end of the post which I now believe is the result of a misplaced bracket.

    (Not that the username is a requirement - CactusJuice and JoeTheFish are examples of DTG employees/contractors that have more personal profiles).

    Hi, yeah, I'm a new community moderator, you can also verify this with the Staff Member attached below my username and I've included a basic introduction in my profile if you wish to visit it. :)

    Also, there was no misplaced bracket, it was intended to be an emoticon because I get how frustrating it can be to get all your progress wiped out.

    The use of "DTG" in usernames is reserved for staff who are employed by DTG.
    Moderators generally do the job in their own time, and without payment.
    Populating one's profile is not a rule upon joining.

    Given that Nika gave you an immediate portal for resolution I'm not sure why you are being so confrontational.

    Try the following:

    Go to C:\Users\username\Documents\My Games\TrainSimWorld5\Saved\SaveGames

    Look for PP_accountname.sav and back it up, then rename BAK_accountname.sav into PP_accountname.sav,
    this may cost you the last few runs, but it's still better than losing everything.

    Nono! I didn't mean to be confrontational. I'm sorry. I was just curious as to who they were.

    Populating a profile is not a requirement and I completely understand that they may do this in their own time (although I can't say I've ever seen that on the forums before).

    Also I'm not OP.
