    Hey there,

Sorry to post another new thread on here.

Does anyone know where I can find the BR Livery of a Class 117. I already have North Somerset Railway, but that is in chocolate and cream livery and looking for the BR livery version.

If anyone could point me in the right direction I be very much appreciated.

    Many thanks again.
    Halil

Many thanks for this, unfortunately this has not worked, when I try a quick drive, an error message appears
"An error occured trying to load the Quick Drive scenario"

But also but actually looking for the reskin for this (see attached file)

I can see its available on https://www.vulcanproductions.co.uk/ but it requires AP Class 101/117/121 Sound Pack (Pro) which is no longer available and stuck.
    Cheers

    Hi,

I am stretching the abilities of my memory, so apologies if this is wrong.

More recently than the release of that file by Vulcan Productions, there was a thread discussing his development of another DMU to have lots of fancy features like winding destination blinds and headcodes. He said that he had obtained permission from Armstrong Powerhouse to include the discontinued sound files.

When it was released it turned out that it was not a free offering but was being sold commercially. It did not include the livery I was hoping for, that was to be included in a later release, so I did not purchase it.

What was released is not listed on his web site, I think it was being sold through another site.

    John

I prefer the IHH version, which doesn't have that idiotic tourist railway bulge over the cab.

That may be so, but it doesn't help the OP, as any IHH product hasn't been available for a decade.

I actually purchased this back in 2013 directly from the site but the site as I am sure you aware is no longer available and that version is what i need. Is the IHH available to download anywhere else?

The Only bulge I can see over the Cab is nothing to do with Tourist Railways as its the NRN Arial - if a bit bulky
Although the Arial is small it required a mounting plate to fit the curved roof

No, they didn't resell anywhere else. Did you keep a copy of what you bought?

Sadly not, if I had kept it, I would have tried to re-install it. Its mad that such an iconic train in my view, you cannot get in a BR livery anywhere. Also the same with the HST Virgin First Generation. Unable to find it anywhere.
That said I aquired the HST (Valenta) pack last night and has the first generation virgin HST on it except the logo! lol

So i have just purchased the BR Blue Class 117 from Steam, installed, selected for a quick drive, the scenario loads, but no train appears. What is causing this?
I just spent £2.99 on the BR Blue 117 as well as another £2.99 for the Bubble car Blue via steam, when you select them both for a quick drive, the scenario leads but no train appears.
    (see below screen shots)

Really appricate what could be causing this

    Many thanks again

I don't know how you have managed to purchase the BR Blue Class 117 from Steam, as it's not listed on Steam.

If it's a reskin, do you have the base DLC? Try creating a custom Quick Drive consist and see if it's visible during the creation process.

Why didn't you keep what you purchased. I have all my IHH stuff backed up on dvdr's.

Well thats great, but unfortunately I didn't and to be honest, Ive not played Train Simulator for about 5 or 6 years if not longer, as my laptop packed up and was using a old laptop.
I am now using a different pc.

Well i stumbled across it this afternoon and is defo purchased by steam if you seen the screen shot below.
I already purchased North Somerset Railway which has a 117 with it.
I can do a quick drive creation with the 117 which came with the North Somerset Railway version, no issue there.
But when I select the other one I purchased via Steam for quick drive, the scenario loads but no 117 appears as previous screen shot

I found the BR 117 on the Marketplace by Googling it
    https://store.steampowered.com/sub/37251/

I think it is a repaint of the BR Green 117 which would be required for it to work
Richard Fletcher has a BR Blue Repaint which is for the Class 117 and it says Discontinued.

I would ask for your money back as you don't have the Base Unit for it to work

It is NOT a repaint of the North Somerset Railway version

Unfortunately it does not advise on any requirements, but here is the link off Steam, I purchased this off this afternoon
    https://store.steampowered.com/sub/37251/

Also purchased the bubblecar 121 from steam https://store.steampowered.com/app/295177/BR_Blue_Class_121_AddOn_Livery/
which I also have the same problem where I select either loco under quick drive, the scenario loads but no train appears expect for the scenery etc.

Do you own the NSE Class 121?

    Steam says
In order to be able to use this add-on livery product, you MUST first own the Network SouthEast Class 121 DMU Add-On. If you check in the in-game store it will verify if you own it before you purchase.

Did you read the description? Just in case you haven't "In order to be able to use this add-on livery product, you MUST first own the Network SouthEast Class 121 DMU Add-On. If you check in the in-game store it will verify if you own it before you purchase."

Hi mate, thanks for replying, my bad, I would normally read what was required, but jumped the gun. No worries, just purchased the Network SouthEast Class 121 DMU Add-On and the blue reskin works as well as the NSE one as well. Many thanks for your help.

I so wished I kept a backup of my install files as they are 3rd party from IHH, but unfortnatly didnt.
As I am disovering this weekend, some 3rd party sites dont always last forever and always best to make backups.
Just checking my emails and I purchased this on Boxing day in 2012 lol 117 IIH.PNG
