Assign a couple of employees and let them clean up this mess! Why the hell did you bother with this damn fog, shouting about it from every corner, if it’s simply impossible to play with it? Why does the game ALWAYS turn fog density on 100% when dynamic weather is enabled? IDK just reduce the intensity by 10 times. Let the current 10% become 100%. Or create a zone of 50-100 meters in front of the player, in which the intensity of the fog is noticeably(like 20 times) reduced. Or adjust the damn spotlights so they illuminate the tracks with beam instead of a hemisphere. Is it that hard? Look at the screenshot - this is a weak headlights without additional lights. Strong light with additional lights just makes the picture white (completely white!). You gave us this feature, and now for 2 years you don't give a LOVE that it works like LOVE! For 2 years players have been asking you - fix this LOVE. You are too lazy to even answer them!
You won't believe it, but I started with light clouds. Then the weather changed to clear, then to fog.
Sorry to hear that! I didn't see any fog after I found out about this. On the other hand in 8 out of 10 cases it always turn to rain eventually...♂️
I've had this mod installed since its release. You see the screenshot above - it was made with a mod installed. And yes, I removed the mod for testing - got a little(if this word can be applied in this case) worse without it.
If the run is being done as part of a Journey, then unless on PC with the God/weather mod, you can’t change it.
So far, everything I've been offered here is a workaround. You're suggesting installing third-party files and disabling certain dynamic weather settings. After all, the feature has been released, which means it’s now the player’s problem, not the developer’s. Oh, sir, aren't you on PC? What a shame. You should have bought a PC. We can't help you now. While it is on DTG to fix bugs, if we do find a workaround it can help improve our experience. In this case, I'm fairly sure entering photo mode and exiting it will remove the fog. That is a bug, but in your case could be beneficial. (Although I'm not sure if I agree that this is a bug - while rare, fog can be quite blinding sometimes and headlights do make it worse. I've seen it in real life.)
It was fixed like 1,5 yeras ago. Is this slogan hanging in a gold frame in a prominent place in their office? That would explain a lot.
Only partially. It won't reset the clouds or the rain, but it will clear the fog. Or at least, it did for me - let me check and I'll return with an edit quickly. Just checked and the fog cleared.
